    I think today is your last opportunity to buy this on psn for 16.99 and then get the free gold pass with the extra tracks and stuff.

    Just purchased so while not expecting much, I wont complain too much at the price.

    Thoughts from those of you who got it?

    Got it at launch and like it a lot. Once you reach the later rankings though the frame rate starts to suffer and the difficulty seems to spike. Two of the new tracks are available, wish they'd hurry up with the others. Overall it's a decent game but feels like a bit of a rush job.

    There are two aspects to this game. On the plus side it looks great and the handling is fantastic - as good as any other RR game I've played.

    However, even with the Gold Pass you're looking at just 5 tracks and about 8 cars. Furthermore, the game seems to be geared around online play, with offline limited to spot races against AI racers, racing against a ghost or time trial. There's no career nose to speak of.

    Finally, I found the online races to be pretty glitchy

    I really like it, but the lack of real content is a massive shame.

    let me help - buying this is the only regret I have since picking up the Vita. stick with Wipeout - RR is awful.

    I was in the same position, but wanted to find out for myself, so went for it.

    If you want a game you'll dip into daily, I think this is perfect. I suspect if I played for hours at a time, I might want to move on!

    As far as the reviews go, it's only the lack of content which seems to be a consistent complaint, but it's more about mastering what you've got than having 1000 tracks and cars, of which you'll actually enjoy 10%.

    I'm really pleased I bought this game.

    Wondering if my gold pass download is broken. I only have 3 tracks. Dont seem able to re download the pass either, any thoughts?

    @Pinky_Floyd you have to pick the other bits up individually - the gold pass just makes them free. Don't say you weren't warned though...

    Ta, all working now. First thoughts were that the frame rate was shonky, title update improved that a lot.

    Second thought is that's its Ridge Racer!  Haven't got far enough to have third thoughts.....

    For a quick blast of ridge racer I reallyike this game. The difficulty is good out of the gate too. A lot of the content in other ridge titles is mindless grind races that are so easy you fall asleep. I don't get the hate for this game. Once you apply the patch it's great.

    Been playing for last hour... It's actually pretty good! Not sure how I increase my level...have won races said I was upgraded but don't see how I level up?!?!

    Oh well, I like it worth a try for sure!

    Not sure I get all the hate or poor reviews for this. Have just been racing on the spot races and its Ridge Racer, no more no less.  Looks great and the AI are mean from the off. Usual upgrade paths and what have you.

    Had it been a full price game then yeah, not much value but it was priced well and the free dlc was sorely needed.

    Getting regular play on my vita, no handheld should be without RR :)

    I find RR Vita great for a quick blast in the evenings, do each track forward and reverse, maybe a bit of online. Reached rank 11 and it's finally getting challenging. Would love to do some online with EG folks.

    Still quite tempted by this despite missing out on the free gold pass, though I've got the nagging feeling that a GOTY style release (with all DLC) will eventually surface.

    Is the frame rate solid post-patch then?

    Looks so good. It'd be nice to see classic Sega Rally cars too. I am assuming this is a love in with SEGA allowing this? Outrun car too please.
