A new album find for me is War on Drugs - Lost in the dream.
I'm on my third playthrough this afternoon and it's getting better and better. My workrate is flying along now, especially on this track!

For Your Pleasure - Roxy Music.

One of the ten best albums ever made for my money.

Reflektor by Arcade Fire. My opinion hasn't really changed all that much, since I first listened to it. The first disc is quite weak, by their standards. Reflektor, Here Comes the Night and Joan of Arc are the highlights. The other tracks aren't quite as strong and some of the lyrical content seems kinda up it's own arse.

The second CD, however, it's top quality throughout. Their best run of tracks, ever, and some of their very best work.

It's my favourite Arcade Fire album. I'm tempted to get a ticket to Glasto just to see them and then go home.

Guys Guys Guys, have you seen that new album advertised on TV called Electric 80's, let me tell you it is amazing, I mean really amazing. Many of the tracks have slight remixes some have been remixed a lot but this doesn't harm the beauty of the original recordings.

Like many compilation albums you get the odd duff song and this album is no exception, I'd say there's three or four duffers but the rest are absolutely sublime, the tracks also transition into one another so there's no pauses and it works great most of the time.

I got it last Friday and have listened to it practically non stop on my bike, at work, and at home, my favourite track on the whole album is Hold Me Now by Thompson Twins, it is mixed beautifully and I think IMO it enhances it over the original. There's 55 tracks in all so for around a tenner it's a steal for this masterpiece of mixing.

Some may be put off with them being remixed but trust me as a massive 80's music fan it really does not harm the songs, I especially like We Close Our Eyes, I love Go West and this track is mixed quite a bit but it is fantastic, even the cheesy Bananarama track Venus sounds good with it's mix.

    Full track listing here.

I've been listening to Kate Bush's Aerial yet again, having finally started to appreciate it. I am also listening to random Trojan stuff, in the hope of identifying a track I used to love at Club Dog.

Some of Coldplay's new tracks are currently doing the rounds on my facebook. What can I say? With the exception of Midnight, which is alright, they're absolutely awful! It's as if they needed to rush something together in a few days and had no old material to work with.

    Drum and Bass Arena 2014

3cd jobby with some awesome choons. I don't know any of the names nowadays in d n b but this is great. Not too slammy like pedulum but more breakbeats and melodic content.

Personally find CD2 to be the weakest as I'm not into the skanked out roughneck stuff (never got on with Roni Size stuff) but overall its worth the tenner from asda.

99 problems and being ginger is one

British Gas have a Muzak version of Clocks as their hold music at the moment. Better than any of their other output...
