Here's a few tracks to listen too. They have basically made my week.

God is an Astronaut - Signal Rays
    Spotify

    Invalids - Bismarck
    Bandcamp

    Metronomy - Love Letters

Arkona - Lepta. Russian Folk-Metal ftw.

Haxan Cloak (doom music to match my current mood) and earlier Liars new album (aggressive electronica to match my earlier mood).

    I hate my job.

    Wild Beasts - Present Tense

Ridiculously good new album from one of the few British bands worth giving a damn about. The best current band in the UK by miles.

Gamma Ray - Land of the Free (Part II)

New album in a weeks time. Can't wait! Could be amazing if the Master of Confusion EP is any indication.

These New Puritans beg to differ.

I'm liking the album but it feels like it's going the same gear all the way through, not to mention the drumming has been simplified to a fault (very poor decision considering they have an excellent drummer).

Wanderlust is great, but for me that's the only track on the LP which can stand up to classics like Loop the Loop, Reach a Bit Further, Two Dancers, This is Our Lot etc.

Might be a slow burner like Smother.

"You see it too? For me, it's always like this..."

Always liked Mr Mason, but rarely listen to him. Listened to his debut at work today and really dug it, the weird thing is, oxygen, his big track sort of pales in comparrisson to most of the album, the earlier tracks have certainly aged well, aged like a vintage single malt :)

The late 90's were a great time for this kind of stuff.

    Venom - Manitou

    Manitoooouuuu... Manitooooouuuuuhuuuuh

Why didn't they do anything as good as this in classical music?
