Daft Punk - Human After All

I've only got around to listening to this album recently, but I think it's brilliant. Plenty of satisfying noises coming out of the speakers at the moment.

I saw Purson pop up on a couple of best of 2013 lists so thought I'd check them out. Good ol' fashioned doomy rock.

Annoyingly the only place to get the album digitally was iTunes though. Although I suppose doom should only be played via vinyl and candlelight...

    Jon Hopkins -Immunity

Very, very choice if you like a bit of the old electronic stuff. Might make my top 5 of the year.

    My December by Linkin Park.

This dude Mike Shinoda speaks my life through his pre-chorus words.

    Graffiti on the Train

Seen the Phonics live a few times now. Some pretty clever writing in some of their songs. Good vocals too.

You should check out Alive 2007. Probably the best live mix I've ever heard. Flawless.

I actually did get on to that the very next day. It's absolutely amazing. It's a shame it gets on my girlfriends nerves because I would be listening to it daily, otherwise.

Stereophonics: Violins and Tambourines. Love the melon collie of it all and most of the Graffiti on the train album.

Not now, but last night I discovered Hidden Orchestra (through Spotify) and specifically their album Night Walks.

Lovely somewhere between trip hop, jazz and mad crazy drum squarepusherness.

Fantastic if you like this sort of thing (and I suspect many here do).

Gramatik - Beatz n Pieces Vol 1. Awesome sample based hip hop. Stand out tracks are Dreambig and While I Was Playin' Fair.

And just got round to listening to Com Truise - Cyanide Sisters. Mega looking forward to his next album :)

Pain of Salvation - Ashes (live)

Woke up this morning with the intro rattling around my head, and this version is my favourite.
