@DUFFMAN5 Seek out the Small Faces. Opened my very small time DJ sets with Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake for a while.... the first GTAV trailer used it. Album's amazing.
Try and find the All Or Nothing documentary, too. What a band.

On a side note, I once met an old man on a beach in Swansea who claimed to have sold acid to the Small Faces in the 60s. All I can say for certain is he had definitely took more than he sold.

Randomly caught InME playing at a festival a few weeks ago - turns out in the 10 years since I last heard of them, they've become pretty damn good. I've listened to almost nothing else since.

New Fuck Buttons, Slow Focus. Easier to listen to than some of Can:Lost Tapes that I bought also.
The Can album sounds great, just some weird prog moments I've no mind for now.

@hal_inc Seeing as you dislike GoT, I'm only too happy to help! :D

You only need the Youtube ID code (the bit after the equals sign) from the URL.

So let's say I'm listening to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYl6abgXGQQ

I only cut/copy this bit from the URL >>> hYl6abgXGQQ

Then, it is inserted into "youtube id=Put_ID_here" directly after the equals sign, so it should look like this (with brackets instead of quotation marks, of course) "youtube id=hYl6abgXGQQ"

So this is what I'm listning to! (top tip, if you want to see how posts are formatted by other users, hit the quote button to see what they typed in themselves! (see how I posted the video below using the alternative tags by quoting this post).

I'm still disappointed by that... it sounds like they've deliberately written soundalikes of their greatest hits and then processed Ozzy *to fuck*. :/

    I'm a grumpy bastard.

Pink Floyd's 'Dark side of the moon'.

I finally bought it a few months back having always avoided them. I'm warming to them now, must be an age thing. ;)

Might pick up a few more of their albums.

My god! I thought you would be a Floyd man. I have the lot baby ;-) never even taken drugs or anything.

Get The Wall NOW...and everything else ever by all the band/band members.

    :)

Y'see I liked 'see Emily play' and bought relics (on vinyl) many, many moons ago. It never really grabbed me apart from a couple of songs. I've kind of avoided them ever since, despite various folk extolling their genius. I think I'll possibly skip the Syd years and pick up a couple more albums though. Probably get the wall, what other albums do you recommend as 'essential' floyd mate?

Ha, the absolute cheek of Sharon/Ozzy to be spouting shite about Bill Ward not being able to play the material properly any more when Ozzy clearly can't sing properly without heavy assistance.

@hal_inc Blimey that Kirin guy has a few 'issues' doesn't he? Not sure I like it, but it's very provocative and interesting. Australia does throw up some great stuff every now and then.

@riz23 isn't though :)? Think it's awesome how he can't but help himself sounding like nick cave. Glad you gave it a shot. Have you seen the video? Didn't wanna post that since it might be nsfw.

Check out The Presets also, another australian electro pop outfit. One of those guys produced Kirin's album.
