So Runs the World Away by Josh Ritter.

Some achingly beautiful songs here and on his new album.

Clutch - Earth Rocker and back catalogue highlights (basically, all of their songs). Earth Rocker is awesome, but Blast Tyrant is still my favourite Clutch album

@B0rked_Gamer It's on Spotify, just got added at midnight I think as it wasn't there earlier!

Also, they're on Jonathan Ross this week.

    Ziggy Stardust documentry on BBC4.

Sure, Bowie was great. But I am not sure he could have done Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust without Mick Ronson, the guitarist in the Spiders from Mars.

When you think of Ziggy Stardust, it's that 'durm-dum doo-doo doo doo doo-doo' riff that you think of. Some chap in the doc says having the classically trained Mick on board was 'like having Stravinsky in the band'. He did the amazing string arrangements on 'Life on Mars' and was involved in the production of the Lou Reed 'Walk on Wild Side' Transformer album as well...

For a straight-as-you-get Mormon guy from Hull to be so chilled with a recently proclaimed homosexual putting his arm around him on Top of the Pops in 1972 was properly cool.

EDIT: weird Freudian slip where I wrote 'clasically changed' instead of 'clasically trained'...
