    Simple Minds
Live in the city of light: Book of brilliant things and East at Easter.

To this day one of my fave live albums. Jim and co on top of their game. Brilliant band who still produce the goods into their 5th decade, underrated, were always better than U2.

@DUFFMAN5 I love their first album, got it on vinyl at uni and played it one hell of a lot. Much underrated.

You know what is also surprisingly great, the second Altered Images album.

Listening to Dan Swano's 'Moontower' album right now (after buying it for the tiny sum of 5 secondhand last week in absolutely mint condition). It's a great record, even more impressive when you realise he wrote, performed, recorded and produced every single note himself

Even the album cover is a photo of his eye!

Listening to loads of Bat for lashes, I'd go totally Craig Kurkey on her arse.

    Love this video:

Amok is excellent on a first listen. Got it pre-ordered but couldn't resist the streams available.

Initially puts you in mind of The Eraser, and subtly introduces the influence and sound of a group working with Thom.

On train on way home from a 40th night out. JAMC 'Reverence' is the latest '70-90's hit playing.

Yes, I know I am old.
