When driving through Bradford I've been listening to the Indian/Asian/Whatever radio station (Sunrise, is it?). Can't understand a fucking word aside from the odd English word but there's some crackin' beats and great playing on there.

Tom Waits. Love it. Surprisingly this was introduced to me by my punky metalhead gore grind deathcore little brother. Sounds like cookie monster on some substances. Two good ones to look up are 'God's Away On Business' and 'Hell Broke Luce'.
    God's Away On Business,
    Hell Broke Luce,
And this is a good one too...
    Table Top Joe .

Mogwai's Mr Beast LP was my soundtrack in the car this morning having heard their mighty 'Glasgow Mega Snake' in the soundtrack for Spec Ops:The line last week when I finished it.

    Cracking stuff.

Just been listening to Neil Young's After the Goldrush album. While walking in to town and back to go to the butchers and run some errands.

    Oh, the high life...

Just finishing Doolittle - Gouge Away. This album has lived so well in my head that I've not had to actually play it for years.

In that time, I've somehow learned that 'Tame' is about the Biblical King David. It just clicked. I'd previously assumed 'Uriah hit the crapper' was some sort of euphemism for abortion. There you go.
