i like him, he is unlike most other politicians. he seems genuine and doesn't have that stick-up-the-ass 'quality' about him, that the vast majority of them do.

his smiles never seem forced, unlike Dave Cameron, and of course Gordon Brown was legendary for forced emotions and obvious photo ops.

don't really pay attention to the policies, this is just a personality impression.

    this is particularly awesome.

watch the toffs squirm as he won't let it go, they must all be filthy rich

I just think he looks and sounds a bit like a Goose. His slurring speech offends my ears.

Bleh, his brother would have been a far better choice.

As for the filthy rich bit, 90% of the "Commons" are.

This post is sponsored by Apple and the iPhone 4S. Think different.

He's about as charismatic as my left testicle.

And that is one dull ball.

It's the Diana Vickers thread all over again.

if you have nothing intresting to say then you might as well just throw your bags on the truck and drive away

well, obviously, Labour aren't are rich as the Tories, or else they wouldn't have been able to say this with immunity.

watch the video... see Dave giving him the direct stink eye & broadened smile, as if he is murmuring under his breath "move on, cunt!"

Considering Ed is in the position of knowing he will never ever have to follow through on anything he says, I find him incredibly lightweight tbh.

As said above, they obviously chose the wrong Miliband.

I don't follow your UK politics but I once clicked on a link here on this forum which led me to a video of an interview this chap gave where he just sat there with a wax grin regurgitating the same answer over and over again. Something with schools I think?

Didn't strike me as all that charismatic and genuine but I'm willing to condone 1 interview isn't enough to judge him on. It was funny though.

    Here it is

I think he comes across as a whiny worm type character. I actually think I prefer Cameron which is saying something.

I do have a very low tolerance for listening to the opposition opinion though regardless of who is in opposition. I just find it seems to be all about taking the negative image position on whatever those in power are saying. It does not feel like a real opinion just the drive to contradict whatever those in power say.

Anyway I think Milliband will be gone by the time Labour start to become slightly relevant again in 2 or 3 years’ time.

I don't have much of an opinion on Ed either way, but he definitely did well yesterday. It was fantastic watching the Tories squirming when he asked them if they will benefit from the tax cut.

    Now with 80% more Cthulhu!

David Milliband seems like a quaker of the highest order, i wouldn't feel confident with him in any sort of position of authority.

he is a pussy boy who threw all the toys out the pram after he got defeated, and held ill will against his brother like a big baby. he even scolded that Harriet Harmann or whatever for clapping when Ed made a speech and said the war was a mistake - what a twat.

I don't mind him, talks sense more often then not when I have heard him speak, seems a bit more left wing then the previous labour leaders so I will probably vote for him next election. I voted Lib Dems in the last but they have really fucked themselves since.

He's shit and pointless. Any decent leader of the opposition would do well against such a weak government. They need a new leader to stand a chance of getting elected.

As much as I generally dislike the Tories, I still prefer Cameron as a leader. Milliband strikes me as really false in every way (I reckon that's not even his real face), and that video in the OP really shows he isn't up to much.

The main problem is he never lets any point feel like it's shared with the opposition at any point (not just in that video, I'm talking in general). If they have a point of consensus, he'll ignore it and just disagree for the sake of agreeing.

I'd respect a leader that says "I agree with the intention but not the way you're going about it" rather than "You're wrong in every single way!". Seems misguided and not at all a way of gaining support. Also he touches kids maybe.

Kirby is the man! Even if he wasn't, he'd just ingest and become one.

Because she voted for it. :/

In fact he seems to have made very little trouble for his brother since losing, I don't really know where you get that impression from.

He sort of reminds me of John Major in the way it’s not someone you would ever expect to end up in a leadership role because they just don't have the personality for it but somehow through random luck they have ended up in such a role. In fact come to think of it Gordon Brown is another example. People who are not natural leader material but somehow manoeuvre their way into such position.

Ed is a complete personality void.

He's that kid at school who used to write sci-fi fan fic in his bedroom in the middle of summer while the normal people had fun.

He's so bland that calling him grey wouldn't do him justice.
