So if I work for a gaming website I can get a voice role in a major game now?

    I mean think about it, an IGN employee got a voice role in Mass Effect 3, Cheapy D from Cheap Ass/Arse (depending on which side of the Atlantic Ocean you live on) got to be a DLC support character in Saints Row The Third, Kotaku/Escapist employee Lisa Foiles got to be on Ms Splosion Man and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't some EG staff get to do a few voice roles on Fable 3?...it's looking like maybe I should work for a gaming site now.

    I must admit I've always loved the prospect of me in video game form in some way and maybe this is the way to achieve it.

    Didn't CheapyD pay a whole bunch of money in a charity auction to be a SR3 homie? I remember reading that somewhere.

    That leaves hundreds (thousands?) of game journalists that didn't do any voice acting. Just make your own game or join an indy group somewhere for your 100% chance of getting yourself into a game. :)

    I love that it's easy to get a job as a respected online journalist as well.

    So, you're saying all I need to do to drive this solid gold Rolls Royce is be an oil sheik? Sounds like a plan!

    LB, you really are a massive geek.

    Doing X to ultimately accomplish Y sounds a bit backwards to me.

    I really want to act in a comic book movie, so if I make a comic book that gets turned into a film then they'll ask me for a cameo like Stan Lee.

    So based on this happening once in the history of forever, it seems like a good idea to spend many years working on a website and writing hundreds of thousands of words so that you can be 'Soldier number 3' in a game?

    Good luck on your adventure.

    @LionheartDJH

    I think Vanille in FFXIII is worse than Marumaru in Blue Dragon. Worse still is the fact that it's pretty much the voice artist's normal voice!

    The worst was that girl in Eternal Sonata. I was half surprised she didn't have a Hello Kitty backpack.

    I think it was the weird noises she did all the time that got on my nerves, although to be fair to her it's not her fault that she had to do them. Glad she made a joke about it in that clip anyway.

    Probably easier than trying to become a journalist well-known enough to secure a voice-over role.

    Oh trust me, work for IGN and getting a voice role in a major game (like Mass Effect 3) is easy
