    Yeah I'd go for that. First Soul Reaver is one of the best PS1 games.

    Wonder if it'll go with Kain, Raziel or both.Either that or focus on a completely new direction. Nupraptor maybe?
    Hopefully a little less paradoxical with all the time travelling stuff and that it retains its copious use of the word bastard.

    Shame Tony Jay isn't about anymore,he done fantastic voice work for the elder god.:-(

    I tried to replay Soul Reaver the other day and it only allows you to control it using the d-pad. After years of analogue stick control it just seemed so clunky.

    I have the 2nd one on PS2 somewhere but never played it. Shall have a go ad see if it's any good.

    @ZizouFC Didn't think the Vita was compatible with PS1 games.

    Soul Reaver is awesome, so much atmosphere, still have the ps1 game in the "man drawer"

    I love the Nosgoth universe, so part of me hopes it'll be still within the original world. But if not, there are plenty of ways to have it in an alternate universe. As long as it's a good game I'll be happy :)

    Yeah me to, really liked Soul Reaver but Blood Omen was just the best.

    no. not just you - blood omen is my favourite of the games but i'll take any soul reaver over none...:)

    Wonder how they'll play the plot out. Will Kains dominance already be established and begin the same with Raziel being flung off the edge into the domain of the elder god.

    It would be interesting if it played out like Defiance only with Kain in the past slowly establishing his reign over Nosgoth then forwarding to the present with Raziel taking on present Kain.

    I think that would be neat.

    hope it happens only played the soul reaver demo off the official playstation magazine but it was quality

    I'll be very curious to see what becomes of this, though I'm not mad about the idea of a reboot.
