Registered 2 years agoThe original comics were edgy and actually good from what I remember. The new film will obviously be absolute shit though. Bay is a cunt. I remember him laughing off the original transformers movie then creating his own godawful version. Cunt.Defeat is not getting knocked down, but refusing to get back up.

Registered 5 years agoI think the main problem is that the name kinda summarises what they are. They're teenage turtles, who are mutants and also happen to be ninjas. Shoehorn in 'alien' there too and you lose all rhythm from the title.
Not that they're going to actually rename them, but you get my point.
I'm not hugely bothered, though. It's not as if the franchise hasn't been mutilated before, and ultimately it's much like Transformers - a franchise that's there almost solely to promote kid's toys. It's not like they're rebooting War and Peace.GHOSTBUSTERS

The whole backstory regardless if it's Alien or not will probably just be mentioned briefly, it's been done enough as the origin. As long as Shredder isn't the first villian they face I'll be happy.
They should save him for the sequel but hint at him in the first aka like Nolan did with the Joker. -
