The EG review talks of it being a bit empty, and I suppose it is, but there's certain things it does very well. They've utterly nailed the scale of the world you're flying above. Taken in isolation, the model of an individual building is fairly basic, but you fly over a town, and there's thousands of buildings and an utterly huge viewing distance to the horizon (playing at top whack, mind). You can pick a landmark on the horizon and it'll take you at least 20 minutes to fly to it. plus it appears to handle really well if you turn some aids off. I've yet to pay for any upgrades yet, but in the unlikely event they offer a realistic damage / crashes model as DLC, i'd pay them twice for it...
