MW3 or Black Ops ?

  I said I wouldn't play another COD game after Modern Warfare 2
  Today I spotted MW3 for £20 and Black Ops for £10 and came close to being tempted. Part of me says 'no, don't do it!' and another part says 'you know you want to play MW3 to check out the London and Paris levels' and another part of me says 'don't touch MW3, as you know people have been saying Black Ops is the better gane, besides, MW3 is £10 more'

  Pixked up 2x bags of Popcorn from Block Buster video. I spotted a film called Shark Night for £9.99. I came close picking up. It looks interesting. I kinda know its going to be meh. I walked, popcorn in hand.

  I was going to buy a dolphin off the zoo today and keep it in the bath.
  
  Didn't bother in the end though. Bought some milk and had a cup of tea instead. Was going to go for coffee instead, but decided not to. I like tea.

  The title suggests you have a question, but your opening post doesn't contain one. This is very disappointing. If it were a question of preference between those 2 games I preferred Black Ops as the mixture of different time periods made it feel relatively varied.

  I'm thinking of going back to the shop, and getting Black Ops. Now that you mention different time periods, maybe MW3 is the way to go. Maybe I should go for Battlefield 3

  Mw3 is far better than black ops imo, but if you don't like cod games it won't convince you otherwise

  Originally I stumbled across Call of Duty 4, after really being into Black/PS2
  Call of Duty 4 impressed me, it looked good. The jump from mission to mission, seemed odd. I loved the camouflage with the suite made from leafs. The final stages, carrying that solider through the urban landscape and arriving at the big wheel was classic stuff.
  
  I followed this with Modern Warfare 2. For some reason, the game failed to grab my attention.
  
  Just lately I’ve felt like giving Black-ops or MW3 a chance.
  
  Once aspect I really don’t like about these games are the non FPS sections, that involve flying in the air etc.

  Blak ops iz ra best coz u can use snipers and ther r loads of perks. Mw3 iz shit coz u carnt camp anywer and all ov da maps r rubbish.

  The guy is talking about the single player campaign. Telling him to buy BF3 is just plain cruel!

  Both Black Ops and MW3 are excellent. MW3 has by far the best single player campaign of the genre.

  Buying popcorn from Blockbusters was your second mistake. Hey, why not just buy a cheap bag of kernals and make your own, that way you don't miss out on any of the popping sound. If you've a good enough imagination, you could imagine that the popping corn is some kind of foreign gunfire and take cover behind the sofa while you wait for your delicious snack.

  MW3 is the better game, & probably has the best campaign in the series. Black Ops is decent enough though.

  Multiplayer wise I'd go for Battlefield 3. If it's single player your after and you like ott set pieces then then cod. But the AI is shit and the weapons feel like pea shooters, very unsatisfying.

  I'd put Black Ops above MW3. Better weapons, better maps, better modes... just more FUN. I prefer the setting as well, the whole Modern Warfare thing never did it for me at all - I find it so dull!
  
  MW3 is still good, but it feels like a step back, to me.

  Went with Call of Duty Black Ops, £7.49 in Gamestation. I was tempted also by World at War, is that any good ?
  
  Its weird. I checked out GAME, Gamestation, CEX, and a small independent. There’s just doesn’t seem to be all that much available. It feels like this Gen is nearing the end, without ever really getting going. There just doesn’t seem to be that same amount of games available compared to the Playstation 2 era. I felt a bit sorry for the small independent , as he was charging double what CEX, GAME and Gamestation were charging for games like CoD Black Ops.

  If there's one thing Blockbuster is good for, that's its Sweet Popcorn.
