Not really "gay" though, as it's a women only event.

There is a sense of irony that in a website for gamers (often seen to the public as anti-social nerds), of whom the vast majority are probably overweight and/or unhealthy and/or inactive, are the people moaning about the Olympics and hating on a young boy who's probably achieved a lot more in his life than probably a lot of the people that posted in thread.

Basically, a bunch of nerds moaning about sports-people is about as stereotypical as you can get.

Liza Minnelli is a woman, doesn't stop her being a gay icon though.

@The-Bodybuilder Nah, I'm just jealous that I'm not permatanned and ripped.

Daley's alright. Bit camp but alright.

I'm sick to the back teeth of the Olympics already and it hasn't even fucking started yet. All this shit surrounding it and these pathetic pointless structures they are erecting and ceremonies they keep having make me ashamed to be from this country. If we ever get the hosting rights to the World Cup in my lifetime, I'm fucking emigrating.
Spot on. What a massive, massive waste of money. Lord tory boy Coe can do one as well. Wankers!
Unlike the Olympics I would actually have some interest in watching the World Cup live; I wouldn't even mind doing a lottery for the first round. Cameroon versus Australia, you say? Sure, why not.

I wouldn't have any interest in Olympic tickets even if you could pick and choose which event you got. Fuck the Olympics, right in the ear.

I personally can't wait for the Olympics - I'm bored of watching tattoo-covered Premier League twats rolling around on the floor after being touched by an opponent, screaming at the ref and generally being total cunts.

I think Football is the only sport that's not sold out yet at the Olympics. Up until a month ago, at least.

In a relationship with a man

Good on him. All the bullying he's endured at school and on Twitter, but he's still brave enough to announce this to the world and is happy for it.

I don't think there was anyone who hadn't already guessed this. He's camp as fuck.

Anyway, good on him. Thread title change...swap 'is' for 'loves'.

As you say good for him, only bit I can never get my head around is Bisexuality...really

I just would always assume you like guys or girls, not both, no problem (like he needs my blessing!) just obviously my closed little brain.

I think the school of thought is that it's the person that they fall in love with, not their sex. A friend of mine has no problem switching between different sexes, depending on who it is.

I always thought Daley was gay. Watching Come dine with me has honed my Gaydar to a remarkable degree.

Unless your friend is a hot Brunette woman I don't want to know ;)
but seriously womans bits are far sexier, warm and lovely. We chaps are none of those things. Hairy arse dockers to a man, apart from me of course.
I get the falling in love bit, but the actual nitty gritty side of things, oh well as long as he is happy good on/in/at* him

*I can't remember what we decided on.

Man who wears tiny trunks and has no body hair in gay shock.

Fair play to him for coming out and telling the world though.
