Despite my reservations on the system I caved in and picked up a Vita.

I got the 4gb memory card (already regretting that) and a retail copy of uncharted, I was surprised that despite having uncharted on its own disk that the game has still pretty much filled up my 4gb card.

    Is this right?

Erm. It doesn't sound right. Unless it installs?

Are you sure you haven't banged a few demos on there?

To be fair, after having the Vita a good few days now I do think it's a fantastic machine. Uncharted is brilliant despite me thinking it wouldn't be, the psn small game scene is already alive and kicking and is offering good stuff.

Yet things like the memory cards, the 8gb I have I know isn't enough in the slightest. Offering all games as downloads, with the main ones at 4gb a pop, it's ridiculous. Couple that with the pricing of them, it's a fucking sham.

I'm surprised at the size of the memory cards. I filled my 8gb card up straight away - they really should have bigger ones available, and also at a more reasonably price - 40 for 16gb is pretty fucking expensive really.

It's the same story on Apple's world. The price of solid state memory needs investigating by that Scottish woman
    Off watchdog. That'd learn 'em.

All I have done is put the uncharted disk in, put the memory card in and started playing.

The memory card situation is a joke. Sony have admitted that they made a mistake and under estimated the demand for downloads. I dont know if the floods in Thailand have caused stock problems and that is the reason why the 32gb card hasn't been released in Europe but it is ridiculous that we can only get 16gb max and that size card is in very short supply. The price is also too high. I wouldve thought Sony would want to encourage downloads from the PSN store and priced memory at a level to encourage it.

I have a four gig card. I have virtua tennis in the physical slot. Lumines, motorstorm, pacman CE, hustle
Demo, SS demo, top darts demo and Fronisher says all on the memory card. 314MB left.
Plenty of room for some fun games on the go. I need a bigger card but I can wait for prices to drop frankly.
My biggest concern is that media
Go is not working with the Vita. That made it really easy to move content around. Plugging into the PS3 is a giant pain in the arse.

And as a long time psp user and buyer of digital games I can tell you that games like Uncharted should never be bought in digital form. They are always massive. I'd love to hear someone

Else who has the game comment on it taking space on your memory card. That sounds odd.

People still moaning about the prices? It's not going to change for a good while yet so we need to get over it.

Also if you want a 32gb card import it the same price as they would roughly cost over here.

Lastly Sony have said they have ordered a big batch of 32gb cards for Europe.

Whatever size you have it will get full. My GO had sixteen on board and 32 added. It still got filled to the brim with games I rarely played. Like I say. Fix Media Go and all will be good in the world.

To be clear I have not bought the digital version of uncharted, it is the disk version from a shop and I have 391mb of space left on the 4gb card.

Ok mystery solved, there were pending downloads that I did not know we're there.

Feel just a little bit stupid!

Got mine with a 4gb card, downloaded uncharted at 3.5gig which meant I couldn't even install Motorstorm. Was almost physically sick when I had to pay gamestation 33 quid for an 8gb as they had no 16 left and I had store credit.

Going to stick with my 12 gigs until the prices come down dramatically

If you are simply concerned about moving files from your Vita to the PC and back, the CMA is fine, surely? I agree they need to offer a way to actually buy and download Vita games to PC in the first place, thoug, if that's what you meant.
