And as I said, wait until level 15 before you reclass him. You should do it straight away, as Villagers are quite useless.

He certainly is useless, but when you watch almost every stat grow when he levels up it's easy to see why he was put in the game.

Those stat-ups will stop in a couple of levels. Villagers have very low stat caps. Hence the uselessness.

But they get something useful at level 15. :)

Yes. Shoulder lasers. What an amazing guess!

Yeah, my next master seal's going on Donnell even though he's only at level 16 and I've a couple of others waiting at 20. I suspect I've been spamming the DLC a bit too hard as I could really go with a half dozen master seals about now. But eh, on hard difficulty I've needed to do a little grinding to make some of the story missions at all possible.

I completed Chapter 11 last night.
Paid a bit more attention to keeping out of Gangrel's range for as long as possible. I missed the second chest, but hey ho. Was trying to avoid killing the last two enemies, but my avatar got a critical hit when I didn't want one. I think it would have been a Goddess Icon. I suspect I can live without it...

Well, that didn't go to plan, did it? Still, just completed chapter 12 and that shop that's opened is a bit handy, eh?

@Delling Chapter 11 was a challenge imo. It's easy to get swamped.

It does get very challenging along the way. Donnel is married to sully in my game, I married Miriel. One loveless marriage that.

So far I have Sully and Virion, and Chrom and Sumia married.
Donnel is lined up to marry Miriel..

I assume the longer you leave the wedding thing and the closer to max level the parents are, the better the offspring will be? On that subject... Henry marrying Nowi was just a little bit weird.

Anyone marrying Nowi is weird. She looks so very, very young.

Parents being max level isn't necessary in itself, as the kids inherit their stat growth rates, not their stats. But they also inherit a skill from each parent, whatever is last on the parents' skill lists. So you need them to reach a certain level if you want the kids to have certain skills.

Dunno. Like others I found Sully marrying Chrom automatically after chapter 11 IIRC, and I wasn't even cultivating that relationship. IIRC I was trying to marry Chrom and Sumia, but it's trick building up relationships with the fliers, once they can self-heal.

And who the hell is Henry? Someone I've missed? I'm on chapter 13 at the moment I think.

I think Henry comes from the DLC somewhere.

I have just Master Sealed Sumia and Lord Pops (my avatar).

You haven't met him yet. Not DLC.

Chrom marries whoever has the highest support with him after Chapter 11.

It's not hard at all to build support. Just pair characters together all the time and have them attack together.

You can kind of force the relationships by pairing up units at the start of the battle. This can be where spamming the DLC plays to your advantage.

@Mola_Ram Cool, that is good to know. Thanks for the info.

I suppose I should spoiler this next bit about Henry... Henry is a Plegian dark mage who joined my group about chapter 13 maybe later (I can't quite remember exactly)... he makes awful jokes about crows and magic, so you'll know it is him when he turns up!

    I lost Maribelle last night, near the end of an long, gruelling side chapter battle. I didn't have the heart to start over so reluctantly said goodbye ;_;

In the same battle I accidentally promoted Lissa to War Cleric as opposed to Sage. She can now use E-rank axes with all her 16 strength. Yay...

Donnel has made it to level 16 so I guess it's about time to Second Seal him to another class.
I am yet to see what the options are....

Just make her a super Bronze Axe, she'll be fine.

You can change classes around if you have the seals. Often people will dip into certain classes for a few levels, just to get a specific skill.

I somehow managed to get Chrom to marry Olivia.....it did force me to basically charge out with him and Olivia though surprised I didn't lose anyone.

So yeah so far Chrom is married to Olivia and the Avatar is married to Cordelia so Morgan, is a Pegasus knight!

Forging weapons has been a revelation to me.
It's another reason why I don't regret using the DLC - I now have enough money to experiment with weapon forging. In previous games I've never risked making an expensive mistake.
Of course, I might have gone too far the other way now...

Mercenary or Warrior, iirc. Swords or axes. He won't ever use a lance again.

I will probably go for axe then, as I have loads of swordsmen.

Will he drop back to level 1, but retain his skills and attribute levels?

    Cheers, will do.

I'm a bit confused about second seal class changes. I know they can't be used on pre-promoted characters before level 10, but what about post-promotion? Any level? Having played on normal I've not felt the need to delve into this at all, but will do during my subsequent hard playthrough.

I'm marrying the avatar to Tharja. Their interactions are too funny not to.
