    I thought it might be worth creating a thread about any errors we encounter in the hope it helps other EG.net people that encounter the same issues!

    Q1. MEMORY CARD NOT BEING DETECTED
    The system doesn't detect a memory card that is inserted, going to settings and system and viewing the screen that shows your memory usage just displays two hyphens.
    A1. SOLUTION
    If a Vita system restore doesn't work, and it won't allow you to format your card then chances are it's a faulty memory card. Send it back and get a replacement card sent out!

    Q2. £5 PSN VOUCHER DOESN'T WORK
    The pre-order bonus voucher won't redeem correctly or indicates that it applies to a specific game instead of Escape Plan..
    A2. SOLUTION
    Apparently this is being looked into by Sony so I'd keep an eye on their official twitter for now! I'll update this when we know more about the issue.

    I heard they are having problems with the PSN codes working...I'd give it a day or so and if it still doesn't work I'd contact Sony Customer Support? Or the retailer that you preordered from and request another code? Not sure man :(

    Is that the factory restore option?

    What happens about any downloaded games you have - was this still okay? I don't want to have to re-download stuff all the time when we swap profiles.

    I will unfortunately be using this bloody feature a lot because two of us will be sharing the Vita with separate profiles.

    I'd downloaded a Wipeout Demo and it was still there when I restored the vita so I guess it doesn't wipe that :) The data is stored on your memory card anyway not your system so it shouldn't affect it.

    Fingers crossed that bought games will act the same way. I am worried about the licenses.

    I am feeling pretty down about the whole profile issue. Ignorance is bliss and up until tonight I didn't expect an issue.

    Then the worst case scenario was that we had to buy another card, but then updated stories said that this wouldn't work and a factory reset is required each time.

    I had an FM alarm clock that I must have got when it was around 1982, and it was still going strong 20 years later. I only really got rid of it because it was so ugly my wife took issue with it.

    These days if my something electrical, I think I'm doing well if it still turns on and works 5 years later

    Probably error with system. Code will probably work tomorrow. I am in same boat unfortunately

    No stuck pixels but it seems my system is fucked >_> nothing I download works...I get errors :( Rayman does but anything I download is broken :3 Anticlimax...so pissed off

    My discount code for Stardust does not work. I have spoke to them - reason seems to be cos the code I have applies to Hustle Kings. I've been told it'll be sorted tomorrow. I have enough games to be getting on with anyway... Also asked if the Stardust code can be used against bundle, he said he thinks not.

    now it works.... seriously...wtf >_> tried to format memory card as a last resort...said it couldn't and restarted...then magically everything works.

    absolute Vita Nightmare ;_;

    Thanks for the concern...guess it's just not my night :3

    I'll be interested to see if anyone else has issues when their systems arrive tomorrow. I bloody hope not because it totally ruins the buzz and I don't want you guys to have all this shit too :/

    Anyway bedtime...before I get fed up and frisbee the Vita off my balcony :p

    Everything in this regard is stored on your memory card, which you remove before you do the factory reset anyway.

    @midgar it really does sound like your mem card. Can you get your hands on a spare 4 gig one somewhere and try and download to that ( ie. off a gaming friend )? If it works then you know what the problem is.
