Some people were saying it was good, but the youtube videos make it look barely playable.

That was what I was thinking, looks terrible on youtube.

I've bought it and it looks great to me. Only played about 10 mins though.

I find some of the cutscenes can be slightly blurry but that maybe the bilinear thingymejig

Jonsaan is probably the man to ask.

Anniversary is fantastic, it's very slick and incredibly nicely done on the control front. Are you sure you were not looking at Legend vids? Your description fits that game as the control is all over the place.

Legends is awful. No played Anniversary, though.

I haven't played the PSP version but it's apparently very faithful to the PS2 version which I throughly enjoyed. And it certainly makes it hard to go back to the 1996 original!

    Thinking of dipping into these.

    Would ideally like to get:

    Dissidia
    Gran Turismo
    Valkyria Chronicles

Saddened that Crisis Core never made it to digital.

I actually have spent more time playing PSP games on my Vita than Vita ones I think (Corpse Party and sequel, Growlanser and Gungnir (picked up on sales)) although switched over to Ys: Memories of Celceta for now.

VC2 is very good but starts very, very slowly.

I was browsing the PSP library on Vita and saw some titles with interestingly low prices. Is this a temporary thing or are they always at that level? I mean stuff like Tomb Raider, Ratchet and Clank, Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy Splinter Cell..
Is any of the Splinter Cell games any good? What's the gameplay like, is it similar to Metal Gear Solid. What else would you recommend from the PSP library, thanks.

I think they're always that low. Some PSP games are really awful (e.g. Tomb Raider Legends), but most are brilliant. If you've never played 'em before you can get some serious gaming goodness for mere pennies :)

I didn't know you could play PSP games on the Vita! Good job I didn't buy a PSP, which I've been thinking of doing recently. Just a Vita it is then :)

@BeardedGamerUK I'd say it still depends on what PSP games you wanted to play - they're not all available on Vita :-)

I'd want to get my hands on all the Metal Gear titles, FPS games (Resistance, Medal of Honor etc.), the two Ratchet and/or Clank games, Motorstorm Arctic Edge, and there are others as well. As long as I can get most of them I'd be happy :)

You'll get Metal Gear Portable Ops & Peace Walker but not the Ac!d games (sadly); all the others you quoted are available I believe.
