    @mrpon

Have you played Chains of Olympus? If so, which is the better game?

I assume Ghost of Sparta looks better.

Yeah, Sparta is the better imo, bigger set pieces.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

To be fair, that post was made 5 days before it was on the UK PSN. ;)

To be fair, I'm an idiot.

    Sorry Rens!

Holy shit at how good Valkyrie Chronicles 2 looks and plays on the vita. The first is one of my favourite games of this gen and this does not look or feel cut down at all. So happy I bought it.

I really need to get VC2. I too loved the first one. Somehow, I've never got round to the psp one.

Something about VC2 just didn't click with me. I think it was the feeling that I was never gonna finish it - so I just stopped playing (and sold it)

I thoroughly enjoyed VC2 although it starts far to slowly.

My problem with VC2 is that I played it to death, and I'm not sure I could go back after the refinement/improved setting of VC3. One day maybe, but even for a VC fan like me it's a difficult proposition.

/still awaiting VC3 English patch and translated Design Works

I still have VC2 to play. And Tactics Ogre. And FFT naturally.

Tactics Ogre by the way, looks f***ing fantastic on the Vita. I've already progressed further than I ever did playing it on PSP. To be fair, this is not saying much :-)

@Murbal - Isn't Tactics Ogre fiendishly complex and pretty difficult?

@Flying_Pig I think much of the complexity, certainly at the early stage is due to the lack of hand-holding/tutorials defining anything bar basic movement and attack selection.

The Warren report in game does break down some of the other mechanics but it's still left mostly down to the player to work things out. If everything does go to pot however, there's a rewind feature!

2013 is my year of the SRPG, so thought it was time I tried to get stuck in.

    Is Legends a bit shit?

I was looking at the PS1 games, but I'm not sure how well they have aged.

Legends was a hateful mess, which looks and played terribly on the PSP (IMO)

Edit - just checked Metacritic. Anniversary is definitely the one you want.

I feel I should big up Trails in the Sky some more.

It is awesome. One of the best JRPGs ever made.

I will probably also get TR Anniversary. Do not think I have played a TR game.

Lots of config options in PSP mode now. Don't recall seeing the touchscreen settings before, pretty cool.

Is Tomb Raider Anniversary available? I've been trying to find it on PSN via the Vita and PS3 but can't see to see it in the store, only Legends.

@johnson81 Found it on the web store but it's marked as PSP only so you won't be able to play it on Vita.

I do get surprised by how good some of them look, though. I think I expect them all to look like Adventures to Go on the Vita.
