I do like MonkeyPaw. They seem to get both great games I know I want and zany ones I never knew existed but look rather good.

Looking forward to New Little King's Story. Just in case anyone hadn't noticed yet. ;)

Apparently the LBP install issues should be fixed but I don't know if this pertains to EU buyers only or the early bird UK fans.

Either way, if the install didn't work, you need to re-download.

Seems I missed out Hustle Kings Complete (9.99) from Wednesday's list. Given the chaos over on the EU store, I didn't spot it until I looked it up on the PS3 :p.

It's "Buy One Get Both" so you'll get the PS3 version for nothing and vice versa.

A very good evening to you. Lots to get through so let's not hang about.

Right, first of all a certain Football game is coming out this week - on 2 different platforms! FIFA 13 is coming out on PSP and Vita so great news if you own one of the other. A quick word of warning though. Apparently the Vita version has been panned in the reviews so you may want to wait a bit (or find it cheaper in physical form). FIFA 13 is out on Friday 28th September unless you're in Australia or New Zealand, in which case you can grab it tomorrow.

New Little King's Story is also heading our way. The surprise hit on the Wii jumps to the Vita for it's second outing. The game will be out tomorrow for all you little fans out there. In fact, the only Vita title out today is Table Ice Hockey, an AR version of err Ice Hockey. Don't forget that you'll need the AR cards to play the game.

There's even a small surprise for Vita owners as Konami have brought out a demo of Silent Hill: Book of Memories. I've only played the first myself (and avoided every one afterwards because I'm a wuss) but it should be interesting to look at. Plus it's free (duh). PSP owners can grab the PSP version of Final Fantasy III (and it's compatible with Vita - but I had to search hard for it). That makes the PSP, the first console to have EVERY pre-PS2 era Final Fantasy available in one form or another (though sometimes not the best versions). If Square-Enix actually release Final Fantasy X HD, Vita can go one better...

Even the PSP minis gets a new arrival with Feisty Feet (though it appears not available for Vita yet, as is Tall Unlimited for some bizarre reason). Hopefully this will be sorted out eventually as the game seems to be getting decent word-of-mouth on my Twitter feed.

Finally, Pinball Arcade gets it's first add-on pack, featuring 2 tables for 3.99. I believe buying on one platform gets you the other pack for Free (though I had to seek out the pack on the PS3 myself - unlike Hustle Kings which gives you 2 separate downloads in the Download List). There's also a load of LBP DLC which I missed (mainly from the older games - which are cross-buy DLC packs).

Oh, and finally again, it's Eurogamer Expo this weekend and I'll be there on Saturday. Possibly in a large group but look out for someone wearing a creamish cap. Probably in the Sony booth most of the time...

    Next Week
Tomba - seriously, Tomba. Maybe even the Spyro classics (but that's a maybe). Oh, and Playstation Mobile launches. I need extra help for that. Any volunteers?

Where the hell is this year going? Let's get this over with so we can get back to Spring again.

First of all, this week sees the launch of Playstation Mobile for Playstation Certified devices (in certain parts of the world). That means cheapish games and apps available for Vita or your phone/tablet. You can activate a game/app on up to 3 devices at once. There will be a seperate thread for the Playstation Mobile related games/apps and I'll be using a "Google spreadsheet" to keep track because it has the potential to blow up into something I can't handle :p. That said, feel free to continue talking about said games here. The Playstation Mobile store is available via the same store icon on the Vita. If you see the Playstation Mobile tab at the top, you can buy stuff!

For those who don't want to faff around with that or can't because of whatever restrictions Sony has of getting hold of money, this week's Vita store update is otherwise quite barren. You can always grab Ronnie O'Sullivan's Snooker on the PSN minis program (no link sorry, can't find one). That said, you could also pick up TOMBA!!!! Well, I assumed you could but apparently no-one told SCEE it's supposed to be Vita compatible. Still, it's Tomba and finally one of the massively delayed games finds it's way to the store in Europe. Go and hug it.

Elsewhere, you can grab the new Escape Plan DLC (remember to install the patch for the game first) which features some new obstacles that never made the first game (I think). There's the first LBP Vita DLC pack, which will give you the pack for LBP Karting and LBP 2 (PS3). There are new tables for the Pinball Arcade (what do you mean you haven't finished the previous ones yet?!) and err a pack of Crystals for Treasures of Montezuma Blitz (i.e. freemium stuff). Finally, there's a PSP theme available to you (does anyone still buy these?!)

Oh, and finally, finally, there are some sale items which will interest Ghostlight fans in particular. Persona 2: IS is bundled with either Persona 3 Portable or Trails in the Sky. Both bundles now down to 23.99. Fate/Extra is now 13.99. For Vita fans, you can grab Foosball 2012 for 3.19 (PSN+ subscribers will net an extra discount for Foosball).

OK, time to go. Lots to do!

    Next Week

Time to burn? Burn the Rope (literally - not a clue to Spyro)!

    3rd October 2012

    ****SALES****

    Vita games - Ends 24th October 2012

That pricing for Castlevania on PS1 is nearly as ridiculous as the pricing for Resi 6 and Fifa 13.

I can still live with that price given what Ninty charge for the VC games. Never played it originally, looking forward to finally trying it.

I remember Alex Huhtala reviewing it on The Big Breakfast :-)

@Rens11 Yes, Tombi/Tomba is not available on Vita. Didn't have time to clarify my post earlier.

Edit: I'm also aware that Tomba is on the PS3/PSP store (under the Latest section)
