Where the hell is this year going? Let's get this over with so we can get back to Spring again.|
First of all, this week sees the launch of Playstation Mobile for Playstation Certified devices (in certain parts of the world). That means cheapish games and apps available for Vita or your phone/tablet. You can activate a game/app on up to 3 devices at once. There will be a seperate thread for the Playstation Mobile related games/apps and I'll be using a "Google spreadsheet" to keep track because it has the potential to blow up into something I can't handle . That said, feel free to continue talking about said games here. The Playstation Mobile store is available via the same store icon on the Vita. If you see the Playstation Mobile tab at the top, you can buy stuff!
For those who don't want to faff around with that or can't because of whatever restrictions Sony has of getting hold of money, this week's Vita store update is otherwise quite barren. You can always grab Ronnie O'Sullivan's Snooker on the PSN minis program (no link sorry, can't find one). That said, you could also pick up TOMBA!!!! Well, I assumed you could but apparently no-one told SCEE it's supposed to be Vita compatible. Still, it's Tomba and finally one of the massively delayed games finds it's way to the store in Europe. Go and hug it.
Elsewhere, you can grab the new Escape Plan DLC (remember to install the patch for the game first) which features some new obstacles that never made the first game (I think). There's the first LBP Vita DLC pack, which will give you the pack for LBP Karting and LBP 2 (PS3). There are new tables for the Pinball Arcade (what do you mean you haven't finished the previous ones yet?!) and err a pack of Crystals for Treasures of Montezuma Blitz (i.e. freemium stuff). Finally, there's a PSP theme available to you (does anyone still buy these?!)
Oh, and finally, finally, there are some sale items which will interest Ghostlight fans in particular. Persona 2: IS is bundled with either Persona 3 Portable or Trails in the Sky. Both bundles now down to £23.99. Fate/Extra is now £13.99. For Vita fans, you can grab Foosball 2012 for £3.19 (PSN+ subscribers will net an extra discount for Foosball).
OK, time to go. Lots to do!
Time to burn? Burn the Rope (literally - not a clue to Spyro)!
