Fight night Round 3 is available for Vita?

What when did that happen - I loved that game on the PS3!

Does anybody know if online matches are available?
PSP game. Ace Combat is too so it's bloody sneaky having "Only for Vita" on its listing.

It's really odd. Lovely looking and sounding. It's fun to fly around and bounce off things. But after 40 minutes I have absolutely no idea what's going on. There are eyes to open/collect, and gateways that open when you've done some task that you're not quite sure you were doing in the first place. Looking forward to playing it more.

Oh man! Had my eye on BOF3 for ages as seems to remember enjoying it on the PS1 but can hardly remember anything about it. Got it for £7.99 a day before they dropped the price:-(

It's definitely worth buying, it plays fine. The framerate is locked 99% of the time so it doesn't seem like it has low fps at all.
Thanks, buddy. Was wondering whether to hold out for it on PS Plus but think it is probably cheap enough and worth supporting. Will DL tonight.

I hadn't played them before either bar the very first section of God of War 1 and I've been hugely impressed with the Vita game, so things like the orchestral music being of a lower quality would not affect us as we aren't used to the console versions.

A surprisingly decent week this week as Summer quickly turns to Autumn (weather wise).

We'll get the massive one out the way first. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is an RPG based off the relatively well known anime. I'd comment on battle system and the like but I find it odd that Namco Bandai only supplied 2 pictures of the game on the PS store. I'd expect more than the character creation screen for a game costing over £30...

Next up, we have Crimsonland, which is a cross-buy title with the PS4 version. This is a top-down dual-stick shooter with zombies and the like. There is a demo available if you would like to give it a whack.

Gravity Badgers is an odd one, with cartoony style graphics (their words) where the aim is to fire one of the poor things into a warp hole using the power of err gravity?

Finally, there's Counterspy, another cross-buy game where you are to infiltrate 2 lairs and sabotage their efforts to maintain world peace. There are also some multiplayer and online features, one of which allows you to pass by fallen rival bodies?

If you want something free and meaty, you can try out the Crimsonland demo or you can grab the Disgaea 4 (yes, DISGAEA 4) demo for nothing - assuming you can store it.

On the DLC end, there's some more One Piece packs, a new Playstation Vita pets costume, a time-limited seasonal creator pack for LittleBigPlanet Vita and a costume pack for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.

Oh, and there's a Rockstar sale ongoing right now - so check it out!

    20th August 2014

    ****Full Vita Games****
    Crimsonland - £9.99
    Gravity Badgers - £3.99

Might have a look at that Crimsonland demo...

I am tempted by Counterspy, but have seen some pretty mixed reviews might give it a miss.

Plenty of other stuff to play instead.

I downloaded the Crimsonland demo - it's pretty fun but looks like the ageing PC game it is. That said, it plays well and there seems to be tonnes to unlock. I think £10 is really pushing it though. Once it drops to £4 or less I will be grabbing it.

    BE WARNED
    - Gravity Badgers is a clone of Angry Birds Space and the Wii U version has a 38/100 Metacritic score.

Arland Trilogy chronology: Rorona > Totori > Meruru.

The time to buy Shinobido 2 may be nigh.

PS: anyone waiting for Danganronpa to land on PS+ should stop being a sodding tightarse and just buy it. Have any NIS-published games ever appeared on PS+ anyway?

Half way through Borderlands 2 and just bought Disgaea 4. Also bought Persona 4 a while back. So cannot really justify buying Danganronpa at the moment.

Can I just say that God of War is bloody excellent? The shitty cutscene footage aside, it is absolutely balls to the wall brilliant. That is all.

Apologies for the late running of this week's service. Days off always make my brain forget a few things. Not that there's much this week.

The only Vita game out this week is Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1 (why the 1?!), the latest instalment of the adventures of the console girls. More surprisingly, there's a new PSP game out this week as well (PSP only) with End of Serenity. This is one of the rare Kemco games that released on a dedicated handheld. This supposedly isn't as good as Mystic Chronicles though so be warned.

On the DLC end, there's loads of DLC for Dynasty Warriors 8, Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1 and a new costume for Vita Pets. There's also a Zen Pinball 2 table for The Walking Dead, both in trial and full form.

Finally, look out for this week's sale, which includes discounts on the Atelier series of games and Persona 4 Golden (P4G is on sale for one week only).

    27th August 2014

    ****Full Vita Games****
    Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1 - £32.99

    ****Full PSP Games****
    End of Serenity - £11.99

It's from iOS I thought so it's obviously pretty awful.
