Did exactly that yesterday. So gutting.

After last week's triple header, we have an ever so slightly more calming double header.

First up, we have Gunslugs, a game which originally appeared in the store update a few weeks ago by mistake. This new indie title is as cheap as you like, costing you less than err a box of chocolates.

If last week's Japanese gaming blast wasn't enough for you, there's another title out this week with Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God. The retail version of the rouge-like curry making game is a couple of days away yet but the digital version is out now for your buying pleasure.

DLC wise, there's a new machine gun (...) out for Killzone Mercenary, lots of Curry God goodies and Zen Pinball 2 Super League tables. In other news, Tearaway is now on sale for a single week and those who like their visual novels should look into Sweet Fuse, which has been cut in price.

    That's all for this week!

    Next Week
Yes, Ys will be out digitally next week.

    19th February 2014

    ****Full Vita Games****
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God - 29.99
Fort Defense North Menace - 3.99
    Gunslugs - 1.99

****Vita DLC, Game Packs and Online/Network Passes****
Killzone Mercenary M224-A1 Light Machine Gun - 1.19
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God DLC - See Store for details
Zen Pinball 2: Super League tables - 2.39 each
Zen Pinball 2: Super League table trials - FREE

Any ideas if we will get Mr Driller on PS1 as the US recently did?

Although I would prefer Mr Driller G, I'll take any Susumo action.

    FCUTA!

I missed out Fort Defense North Menace by the way. Not out of malice. More like it wasn't on the store page I was using. Costs 3.99.

Never really been able to get excited about Ys, What makes them so special? I see people raving about them, but i don't seem to be on the same page. And I do like jRPGs, honest! :)

Picked up GunSlugs last night, it seems very good fun. With an objectives system like Jetpack Joyride so there's always something to aim for. It's definitely worth 1.59. Everyone needs to buy it. OrangePixel, while a mobile dev, do make great games and I look forward to more of their titles in future (if we all support this!)

Also bought Stick it to The Man but didn't have enough space to download and install. I'm going to consider which game to wipe off to free up the 1gb. Pleased to have picked it up though.

I would have bought Dungeon Hunter but there are only the 'small game' amount of trophies.

@ZuluHero They are pretty straightforward action RPGs, I've only played Ys 7 and the one on PSP, but I think people like them mainly for their epic boss battles. Also some nice music.
They can be really hard though, at the point of frustrating (own experience). Other than that they are your typical JRPG nonsense (i.e. story, characters-wise). And the main character is usually a red-haired boy named Adol.

Celceta was my first Ys game. What I liked about it was the sense of discovery (you have a big map that you gradually reveal), the slickness of the combat and some of its mechanics like guarding or dodging a split second before an enemy attack lands, and just the general RPG stuff. The story is okay but has enough mystery surrounding the amnesiac (yeah, I know) main character's past to remain interesting, and the characters are a likeable bunch (Calilica!).

I don't about previous games but I didn't find Celceta hard at all, except for one optional boss.

After a busy couple of weeks in Vita land, things calm down again. Just one new release - and that's last week's retail release, Ys: memories of Celceta, the latest installment of the Ys action RPG series.

On the DLC side, there's a new DLC pack for Tearaway, Muramasa and (supposedly) one for LittleBigPlanet too.

    That's all folks!

    Next Week
    Woo, back to No idea!

Ah. Shame. I guess we had that big sale a couple of weeks ago, perhaps the Feb sale was our anniversary thing?

Nope. They admitted that it was forgotten. Hence no sale or blog post or anything of the sort.

There will be a new sale starting this week though. No idea what it encompasses.

Hopefully some good stuff - massive PS1 sale? I really want Klonoa but don't want to pay 4 for a PS1 game.

Would love a Klonoa 1 & 2 HD Collection game for Vita.

The first update in March and - there's practically nothing. There is however, just one solitary demo out for everyone's favourite Japanese vocaloid, Hatsune Miku as she tries to force you to part ways with THIRTY of your British pounds next week. The demo contains 3 songs to fool around with. It's relatively small and it's free so everyone wins! Except those who wanted the full game this week...

    Next Week
Hatsune Miku is live and on your Vita - if you can afford the asking price.

I just added it via SEN. Showed a price until I went into the basket to complete the sale.

Is Smart As any use? I added that too since the wife bought a now forgotten DSlite for brain training.

Downloaded Smart As last night but didn't play it before going sleep. Happy to get a new game even if it turns out to suck, and avoids inevitably ending up buying it for cheap to add to my retail collection.

Spy Hunter arrived yesterday. I had honestly totally forgotten I even ordered it. *facepalm*
