Registered 8 years agoI hope we get a couple of PSV demos such as one for F1 2011 as I'd like to try it out but have no intentions of actually buying it when I have the PC version. Registered 7 years agoWelcome to the first main post of the Vita Store thread. Sadly, it seems it's hangover week as new content is slim on the ground.
This week will see the release of some DLC for MotorStorm RC (buy once, use on both) and BlazBlue Continuum Shift (individual purchase) for the Vita. On the PSP side, we have Disney's Cars 2. For PSP owners (you are here, right?), you have an extra treat - or should I say, 2?
After what seems like an eternity, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 both hit PSN in Europe. Remember that PS1 classics are unavailable for Vita, but if you have a PS3, you can put the PS1 purchase on your PS3 and try it on Remote Play (I believe it works).
So, there you have it. I hope you weren't expecting anything too exciting this week...

Especially when it's format-specific.

Registered 7 years agoTime for another update this week - though if you're in the UK/Ireland, you probably won't be interested until Friday 9th March. That's when the digital versions of Unit 13 and Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 are released (Mainland Europe should have these now). For those who get their games early, the Unit 13 network pass should be ready to redeem once you get it and pre-owned users can grab it for the usual Network Pass price of £7.99.
Those who've been on the fence with Everybody's Golf have their fence sitting rewarded with a demo (you need to search for it for now - not in the store front). There's also another batch of DLC for BlazBlue, MotorStorm RC, Ridge Racer and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom. You can also find a trailer for Augmented Reality on the store.
On the PSP side, there's 4 new bundles of minis to work through. There's also a slew of price cuts (seemingly permanent) on old PSP games. A full list will be published later once I can get time to list previous prices.

Registered 7 years agoA quick warning, I purchased Ys: The Oath in Felghana through the store on my Vita only to be told it can't be downloaded directly to the Vita. Am now downloading through my PS3 but anyone with no other way to access their downloads should be careful.PSN: Adwab2

Disgaea Infinite still isn't available as a download straight to the Vita, by the way, so you might want to check before buying games if you don't own a PS3 and don't fancy waiting.
