    No idea - hopefully Terraria?

Spiderman hit US but doesn't seem to have a fixed release here as of yet.

I'm expecting a quiet week this week (although the new PS+ IGC stuff goes live) ahead of a barrage next week for the PS4 launch - we should be getting Flow, Flower etc

And let's not forget Tearaway this week as well :)

Thanks for all the updates. I'll make them live in the OP as soon as I can.

Today's update might be early - or late! I don't know. Messed up working times this week XD

Looks like nothing but a bit of VK3 DLC and another version of Furmins although I thought that junk was last weeks stuff?

It's that time when gamers get really excited. Yep, the next generation of consoles are finally just days away from settling into their new homes and gamers across the world try to argue which is better. Here in Vita land, you'd think it'd be quiet but it isn't really...

This week's HUGE release for Vita and sent to die with the XBox One release AND Zelda game is tearaway, the latest release from Media Molecule. A delay to the original release date meant that Tearaway was put in a very poor position and so will likely do no more than the average Vita title on the UK charts (i.e. not exist) despite the glowing reviews. For those on the fence, a demo/trial (can't tell which) will be released at the same time.

Also out this week in stealth mode is the Amazing Spider Man.This is a port of the same game from the other HD consoles but according to my spidey senses, it's not looking promising. Both these games are out on Friday. Those who need something now will have to make do with Furmins with a bonus world attached to the pack.

On the DLC side, there's a shed load of Valhalla Knights stuff (I just picked out ones with different pictures on the store). Sales wise, only one item for us this week with the RPG Classic Collection reduced in price (includes Half Minute Hero and Blazing Souls Accelate) from £19.99 to £11.99. Those with a PS3 might be interested in Rainbow Moon, which appears on Vita in a fortnight. It's not cross-buy, though there will be cross-save capabilities and I believe the devs are looking into getting a discount for PS3 version owners.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to lay flowers on Tearaway's grave :(.

    Next Week
PS4 launch day! Which means (I believe) Flower and Fl0w will be out on Vita next week! Oh, and apparently there will be some sale items for Vita owners too. Stay tuned!

    20th November 2013

    ****Full Vita Games****
Furmins with Bonus World - £5.49
The Amazing Spider Man - £34.99 (out 22nd November)
    Tearaway - £19.99 (out 22nd November)

    ****Vita Trials and Demos****
    Tearaway (TBC)

****Vita DLC, Game Packs and Online/Network Passes****
    Valhalla Knights 3: Foreigners No.2 - £0.79
Valhalla Knights 3: Lady Clerks Set - £1.59
Valhalla Knights 3: Other DLC - See Store for Details

There's a price reduction for RPG classic Collection, which includes Half Minute Hero and Blazing Souls Accelate. Price £11.99 reduced from £19.99 until 04/12/13. Not sure of the other currencies though. ;)

I had no idea that Tearaway was going to be a snip at £20, so it's day one for me - hope it's on the store at the crack of dawn so I can get it downloaded before I get the train to work on Friday. :)

This is strange territory - I haven't bought a game on release day since my infuriatingly disappointing, impulse driven Smart As... purchase, as PSN+ has kept me going since then.

Funnily enough I am just watching the Amazing Spiderman on Sky movies.

Put it this way the game can't be any worse...Hopefully the game won't star Andy Murray...

I really can't work out if any of that VK3 DLC is worthwhile (ie. not early unlocks, paying for power ups, etc.). Anyone in the know have any suggestions?

I genuinely can't remember the last day 1 purchase I made before Tearaway. Probably Assassin's Creed or The Orange Box!

It's a great game to be sure. It's a shame more aren't playing. Hopefully it will get reduced in a month or two so the guys here can all buy it. :D

Like others, Tearaway is my first release purchase for...well...I honestly can't recall. This year, certainly.

My ShopTo preorder was despatched yesterday so outside chance it'll be waiting for me at home.

    Why look, it's a blog:

@evild_edd does that mean you get money back?

It's only if you paid when you placed the pre-order, rather than waiting for them to take payment IIRC.

I remember reading into it a couple of months ago but the short answer is no, unless you have followed their specific rules that make you eligible for the refund (which noone ever would unknowingly) you aren't eligible.

    http://www.shopto.net/help/releasecompensate

As Hardcore gamers ourselves at ShopTo.Net we know more than most just how important it is to receive games by the release date, so we are pleased to introduce a revolutionary and unheard of scheme which will earn you money if we fail to deliver!
For every pre order of a new release product you place with us, you will automatically qualify for a £5.00 store credit should we fail to deliver this product on time.
This offer is strictly for pre-orders of new releases which are made by 12pm two days before the official release date - this will usually be 12pm Wednesday. An item bought as “In Stock” does not qualify as a pre-order; it must be processed under our pre-order system.
By using 1st Class Recorded Delivery we’re able to see when our games are delivered, so if you can show us your game was delivered late then we’ll compensate you!

I'm assuming you still have to pay extra to get the recorded delivery in order to qualify for the credit if it's late, though?

It's an interesting one. I pre-ordered before the cutoff, but didn't pay for the recoded delivery. However, if it wasn't despatched till today, it was never going to reach me for release. Hmm....

I might drop them an email and query.

It's not the end of the world, TBF (I've a busy weekend), but if I can get £5 credit I'll jump at the chance...

Yep. That's the thing I meant. If you don't pay extra for delivery you aren't eligible for the credit.
