The blog yesterday said they were trying to fix the discount thing, which should be 10% off for everyone and a further 10% off for Plus members.

I could swear I saw Guacamelee yesterday about 1/3 cheaper than it is today. I wondered if it was worth it though even at that price.

It was in the Cross-buy sale that ended yesterday.

Given what you spend on the Vita I'm surprised you're quibbling over a couple of quid?

Some people did months ago when it first came out, and a few weeks later after everyone had given it a go to see what it was all about the fuss sort of went away.

It's alright. I don't think it's *that* amazing. It's certainly interesting. A curio, perhaps. It's something I'd say you should have a look at, but I can't personally recommend buying it as I haven't touched it since the first half hour I spent seeing what it had to offer. I don't *regret* the 7.50 I spent on it, but I wouldn't buy a sequel, put it that way.

It's a great game. Although it is likely coming to Plus so you may as well wait - surprised there's so many who have not already picked it up though.

To be honest, 6.99 is the very most I'd pay with the ideal price being a fiver or less, since I don't think it's going to be something I'll play for hours I can't justify 9 on it when so much is due out before Christmas.

Surely people are going to want to buy it now for the novelty of owning a Vita game that aros doesn't? ;)

That's a tempting proposition!! 10% discount isn't enough to get me to bite, but maybe 10% + 10% reducing the price to 8.09 could convince me, even if it is a curio....

I think Proteus is a tough sell at 8-9, I'm into arty games that dicks would say aren't games and I wasn't hugely impressed. It's an interesting enough curio but is very limited.

It's a procedurally generated world, you wonder around and soak in the atmosphere. It has some nice pixelly graphics and effects, the sound is a major part of it too. Beyond that there's not really anything to do and it doesn't take long to see it all. So while it's a nice little escape, I'd struggle to recommend dropping that money on it, definitely check it out at some point if you can or if you feel like you need a happy place to chill out in then maybe it'd be worth it.

    Portable view - Never forget.

I wonder what Curve's next projects will be? They are fantastic with the Vita.

For those of you on the fence - Proteus now has the 10% discount, plus another 10% off for PS+'ers, making it 8.09.

Also - I know HAway has mentioned it somewhere else, but Rainbow Moon is coming to Vita on the 4th December. Most likely for 9.99, but with 50% off if you already have the PS3 version.

Almost caved and bought Killzone earlier, but then remembered I only have 4Gb free on my 16Gb card. Those 64Gb cards better hurry up and arrive on these shores at a sensible price!

// won't be holding my breath!

Perfect example of why the overpriced cards are counterproductive. More storage = more game sales.

If anything I find a restriction on space handy, as it stops me buying games I don't really, really want. Which these days, is most games to be honest.

I bought VVvVv on the 3ds. Not impressed at all I'm afraid. I completed it too, it just seemed so......boring..to be honest..

Indeed. I just refuse to be scalped - been there with the Memory Stick Duo and the PSP, but at least that was a decent class of memory card. The Vita sticks are shockingly slow - Sony should be embarrassed by them and practically giving them away, not exploiting a monopoly.

Got myself a PS Plus subscription in anticipation of the PS4 and took advantage of some of the free games.

My gaming tastes must be changing. Gravity Rush and Oddworld just didn't grab me in the slightest, while the 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character has kept me hooked for days.

What other pick up & play PS Vita games are worth buying? I've heard good things about Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

Mutant Blobs is fantastic, another freebie (not PS+ but still free) is Jetpack Joyride

    Very addictive!

If you are hankering for old school vibes that remind you of why you got into gaming in the first place...

Spelunky. Game of the year for me.
