Registered 7 years agoNot much in today's update to the store. First off, a bit of tidying up. Last week, there were some DLC packs for Super Monkey Ball (both free). Also, I could have sworn that there was a trial version of Smart As available but I can't find it. If you happen to see it, let me know. It might be on the same page as the game purchase. Ratatouille also got released (PSP compatible only) and a load of static PSP themes.
The only new game out this week is When Vikings Attack. Some of you may have played this at the Eurogamer Expo back in September but if you haven't, now's your chance. The game is a BOGB offer, which means it's a PS3/Vita single purchase. Buy one, get the other for nothing. It also features Cross-saving and Cross-Play features. However, it only has a single trophy list so don't think about doubling up like you could in the past (leers at Sound Shapes).
On the PSP end, there's a new game pack from Rising Star Games, with the Valhalla Knights Trilogy. There's also some more Super Monkey Ball DLC (still free), some Street Fighter x Tekken DLC, more Little King's Story DLC and shockingly, a new Pinball Arcade DLC pack with 2 new tables to play with! Oh and a video about recent release, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation.
Finally, there's some stuff on sale but I'll detail that later...

Registered 9 years agoPicked up Vikings Attack. Looks adorable and very british (in a Sensible Software type way) BUT appears to be very much a multiplayer game, which I wasn't expecting (and would really rather it wasn't)... -

For example, a couple of months ago I downloaded Colin McRae 2005 (PSP) onto the Vita. It no longer seems to be available for download/purchase. -

Registered 7 years agoNot much to see here this week. Just a single game but it's the big one. Yes, Call of Duty arrives on the Vita at last. Reviews are very mixed so be wary unless you're asking for punishment.
Aside from that, we have a load of DLC for Little King's Story (some of which may get you into trouble
), a new chess set, 2 more free DLC packs for Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz and a new table for Zen Pinball. "AT LAST!" cries the Zen fans...
Oh, and if you're a Playstation Plus subscriber, do not buy Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush or Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack - you know why!
Next Week
Jet Set Raaaadddiiioooooooooo! Playstation Plus hits Vita, Chronovolt sparks success and there's the little matter of Playstation All Stars Battle Royale. Maybe Virtue's Last Reward as well?!
EDIT: Missed the PSP themes off the list - not that anyone buys them nowadays...

Also, I read that Team17 were expecting to have Alien Breed go live on PS Mobile today. That could be worth a go. -
