Going to pick up my old pc from the parents tonight or tomorrow. It hasn't been used for a while and I'd forgotten all about it until I found my old copy of Total Annihilation, both discs in perfect repair.
I updated the graphics card in it when I was still living with the folks so I could run Dawn of War so looking forward to getting a go on that too.
I'm hoping TA still stands up well as a game becuase when I dusted off the cd case it brought back some great memories.

I think I'll just be glad to play a RTS again as it has been ages since my last proper fix.

Total Annihilation had the best ever DLC if I remember correctly. every week they would release a new unit for free to download.

That was indeed awesome, kept me playing it for a good while after finishing off the campaigns.

Does anyone know if you can have a LAN session with the two discs in the game case or do you need to have two copies of the game?

@L_Franko I think it should work, those old games often even allow to remove the disc during play.

On the same note, StarCraft 1 is always a classic and playing the campaign is still atmospheric.

TA discs were mostly just for the music, and each contained a different campaign, 1 arm 1 core. But the multi player contents was identical on both.

Known as 'Sharzam' in 98.5% of games
