Just pledged my money to them although I'm behind in my double fine pgames, las t one I played was Brutal Legend I have faith in them making a great adventure game and for my $15 donation I'm not too bothered if they mess up.
Really like this idea of game funding I hope none of the big publishers decide to take it up as it may defeat the purpose. Mind you if they except a $15 donation and you get a AAA title out of it I may change my mind
http://twitter.com/#!/TimOfLegend/status/168471171480817664]"we use [the Brutal Legend engine" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> for everything, but since this is 2d game maybe not."
Well they are likely to hit $2 million now, bloody hell.

Seems the extra is going to be used for console and other formats. I hope they do a 3ds version, would be perfect for adventure games. Would give a chance to enjoy the 3d aspect. I'd love a 3ds version of Grim Fandango.

Meanwhile that Pixel Sand game has made its 100% thanks to the double fine interest and is going for a 12k strecth goal. Just a few more grand to go in the next day or so.
On the verge of 2 million.
Two and a quarter.
Edit: And for those that didn't know, there are new pledge rewards and levels.
Eg. $100 has been added to, as well as a poster you also get "Special edition box containing both the game disc and a DVD or Blu-Ray of the documentary."
New $60 level = PDF version of the Double Fine Adventure Book (filled with 100+ full color pages of concept art, original photos, developer bios, excerpts from the game’s script, deep dark secrets, and more!), and all previous reward tiers!

Now at $2.6 million
3 Days to go
Extra rewards for $100 backers.
Double Fine "Adventure Backer" T-shirt
Game and 'Making of' DVD will be supplied in old school big cardboard box packaging.
Seems like the pledge rate is rising again. A lot of backers are going to leave it late.
This is going to reach 3 million I think.
I bet a lot of $100 joined the fray.
Money already being put to good use
