    @Rens11

Good move as this is definitely not coming with Peace Walker included...

I'm sticking with the PS3 release for now.

I gave into temptation and bought peace walker off psn so hoping it doesn't now! Haha
You'll have to let me know what you think - I actually really disliked Peace Walker on the PSP, althugh that's mainly down to the controls...

I have tried Peace walker on the vita (since I owned in on the psp digitally) and while you can map the camera panning controls to the analogue stick it doesn't help that much as it still controls with digital movement so there's no real advantage. Bottom line is if you didn't get along with the controls on the psp it's at best slightly better on the vita.

I found the controls pretty good to be honest the second analog as the camera works well and is smooth

they were pretty good on psp as well if you could get used to them, but if you couldn't it's not going to be any different with it mapped to the analogue stick on the vita.

I loved the first Acid game. Give me turn based card based combat any day over a twitch shooter!

I enjoyed them as well, hunting out the decent cards was a nice diversion and it also had a hell of a lot of depth and strategy with getting and picking a decent deck of cards then there was the strategy and depth in movement and position in combat. Great little game with an element of luck thrown in to spice things up.

Never got into the acid games, I usually enjoy a good SRPG too.

Have ordered this collection - haven't played 2+3 for a long time and am away in July so will be good to play these on my vita.

While I loved 2 (despite the very odd end section), I never really got into 3 and never made it past the brick building in the forest (an hour in?)

Looking forward to be able to sink more time into this

MGS3 also has the best setting for a final boss fight and great rolling credits soundtrack. My favourite of the series by quite a margin.

MGS1 had me unable to clear the first dockside area.

I may pass on this collection.

It takes a loooooooooooong time to research everything, I put in around 70 hours into peace walker and I still haven't unlocked everything. Last few things I want are a random chance drop and I simply can't be arsed with that.

About 16 I think. I'm going to wait for the price drop. They may even do one to coincide with the compilation.

Peace Walker is well worth 16, great game and the most content of any metal gear game, ever.

Been reading through the comments and haven't seen it mentioned so far, so just so you guys know - The Vita HD collection only runs at 30fps as opposed to 60fps on the home consoles. It might sound like I'm nitpicking, but I've cancelled my pre-order as a result. I originally intended to trade in my PS3 copy as I've platinum'd 2 and 3 and intended to keep the Vita version. But half the frame-rate is unacceptable really, especially considering that the Vita is much more powerful than the PS2. It should be able to handle 60fps without losing any visual quality, especially since they are games which are 7+ years old.

Plus I've been spoiled by MGS3 in 60fps. It runs like a dream bar a few sections which tax the system, but I expected the Vita version to match it in all honesty. It would also have been nice to get a 5 discount voucher for Peace Walker since that isn't included in the set. At 22.50 (cheapest so far) it still feels too expensive. Shouldn't have cost more than 17.99 max IMO.

what do you do with the other 70-80 percent of games that come out on consoles that are only 30fps anyway? Just refuse to play em in disgust?

MGS isn't really a game series that you'd need it to be 60fps really, it's slow it thought out and never a twitch shooter.

I also would of thought running a game at 60fps would halve the battery life in comparison to running the game at 30fps since you'd have to render the game twice as often. You have to remember it's a portable system everything you do on it has to take into consideration the battery life.
