I just finished the 3rd and Jesus it blew my mind. I'm playing it through again before I touch 2. Really good.

Registered 5 years agoAbout half way through MGS 2 and quite enying this. Controls are still a bit shit, but teh game is growing on me fast.
Only major gripe is that it is impossible to fucking hand to hand kill someone.
-Sneak up behind someone, go to strangle them and:
...you fucking throw throw them. Guy gets up, you die.
...you miss because the camera angle was deceptive on how far away you were from the guy. You die.
...it actually does grab the guy, you strangle and kill him. On the 58th fucking time you attempt it.
Should be so easy to do. -

Registered 5 years agoOh, and I love the little touches I keep finding.
Touching on the screen zooms in on cutscenes. Moving the sticks moves the heads in the PDA.
Tiny touches that are pointless, but show how much care and attention to detail has gone into the game. -

Registered 8 years agoThere is an easier way of beating him just place a load of claymores around and as soon as he runs into one he falls down and you can get an easy head shot off on it, nice and simple. Registered 7 years agoDecided to start 2 before 3 as that is the one I struggled with before and want to leave the best till last. I'm also a bit fed up with the jungle setting after PW. But fuck me is it hard! Also how do you load a save during a game instead of waiting to die?Pissy pants.

Registered 2 years agoI just went with a physical copy from Shopto, personally, since the file size is pretty large and my 32GB card keeps filling up surprisingly quickly.

Registered 10 years agoI've only got a 16GB card, but I still prefer games on there because carrying games around is so fiddly! Also, there's something about buying games digitally that makes me feel less guilty for some reason, maybe something to do with the fact there's less boxes lying around... -

Registered 3 years agoAhhh!!! I went through the while game not killing a single person on MGS3, except I kilked one dog which apparently counts so one kill. How annoying. Also I got all 11 snakes but no trophy. So can't be arsed play it a third time. Great game though
