Just got home from work. Do I wait for Joan at 6am, or do I sleep and try and catch her before lunch time...

I missed her, but I didn't have any money for turnips anyway.

Oh cool. I'm on the island at the moment but will open my gates when I get back so people can buy.

My turnip price is 92. I guess it's not the lowest price but I figured I'd give it a shot this week. :)

92 for me, today, too. Time to go earn some funds to buy as many as possible.

Ha, that is the exact number I bought today! It worked out well for me with 500 last week (sold for 300k) so fingers crossed! :-)

    I've just bought 3,600 /o\

If anyone gets lucky on the island with saw sharks, my retail is paying double for them today (24,000 bells).

@MrTomFTW I had left the gates open-don't think you'd added me back though so not sure if you can get in? Hope you can, anyway! :)

I spent all of my money to buy 800 turnips. That second bridge wasn't important anyway! ;)

Ehhh? Left open my gates for turnip sales and someone's been going round cutting down loads of trees! What can I do to stop that?

Yeah, guess it did help: everything's back to normal. Phew! Sorry if that caused anyone problems.

It kind of did. I had to rebuy 6k of turnips from Melville. But I don't mind as its 1 bell cheaper and that makes a big difference to my profit margin;-) I went a bit crazy and bought 14k turnips.

Turnips 99 bells in sunny Stoke today. Gates open now for half an hour or so. Also fossils in Re-tail and various fruits on trees.

I blew 500k bells on turnips at 96.

    I've also started propagating bamboo.

What's the point of the camp site? I've completed works, but it just looks like a pile of bricks. Frankly, it looks scruffy.

Screw you people and your manipulation of the stalk market. It's people like you that brought the global turnip economy down.

I make money the old-fashioned way (catching many, many bugs and fish on the island).

From time to time someone will come camp there. You can then interact with them although not sure the extent of that. The one camper I had offered to buy one of my items for a random amount - he had 4 cards (diamond/heart/club/spade) and depending on which one you randomly picked he would pay that for the item. Which meant it could either be crazy high or insultingly low. I lost my fishing rod for 100 bells or something like that! :-)

I think I've caused a bug and shark extinction on my island due to over farming. Thus, that is no more an efficient and effective mean of earning money for me.

I met Resetti for the first time this morning. The batteries died while I had my town open overnight, and obviously it didn't save.

He was much politer than usual! I'm thinking about building his control centre for him, just because he was so nice about it.

If you have any space left in your town (I think the max number of npc villager is 9/10) they will come and live in your town afterwards, if you have persuaded them to. Also, there are the mini games and possibly obtaining camp exclusive items.

Has anyone experienced their villager wanting to leave their town?? I kept forcing mine to stay because I do not know where the new guy will be building his house at and I do not want them to ruin my path layout.
