If i'm still alive after work tonight, i'll source all I know. I'm looking forward to it myself. It seems they're slowly turning it into a sim management game in which you have to run the entire town and keep people happy.

I was never too bothered by the visuals myself. In fact I quite liked the visual charm. Some familiarity will only remind me of the good times I had with Wild World. What I would like to see with this one is some interesting online components. At 24 I think i'm a little too old to be running around in somebody else's village, cutting down trees and digging holes...

I really want to see lots of new furniture and items in the 3ds version. They've used mostly the same stuff since the GameCube version. I know each game had some extra stuff but I'm really hoping for a massive overhaul this time. Would like to see lots more fish, fossils and insects as well as other stuff to collect.

Believe it or not but I love a bit of AC.

    I'd like to see:

Easy character creation without having to sit through screens of boring same every time text.

An online hub world you can visit without friend code exchange.

A shit ton of outfits and funky items.

Tom nook to talk a lot less.

The ability to carry loads more stuff. Swapping stuff around is simply not fun.

More interaction and use for the cafe.

Less specific times and days to access certain content.

Resetti to fuck off and play no part in the game. Save In the background.

    FCUTA!

Apparently you can create your own furniture. Not sure if that means everything down to the physical shape, but apparently there is customisation involved.

It doesn't really tell us anything new, but it's a great summary of the game so far. It does sound like quite a big step for the series.

I can't believe the amount of new features in this. I seriously expected it to be little more than a port of the Wii version.

Definitely looking forward to this a lot, it's much better suited to the handhelds. I'd even be tempted to pay a little extra for a digital version, rather than having to switch cartridges all the time.

I'll buy it, and then lose the 3DS forever to my wife and my eldest daughter. They love their AC. I love a bit of AC too.

I am really looking forward to this, there aren't many games that get me up early on a Sunday morning. ;)

I think this might be the only game I ever pay extra to get it as a digital download, it just makes too much sense to always have it on the system.

Regarding that trailer, if the water is so clear then why are the fish just silhouettes?

I prefer fish silhouettes - I don't want to know what I'm getting when I'm fishing, I want it to be random! You're right though, it's not logical really from a water clarity perspective.

Damn Animal Crossing though. I don't even know why I love them. Someone on here (maybe even this thread, I'm too lazy to check back) said that's it's not even a game, objectively speaking. There's no goal, just the pursuit of a lovely town. But that's the beauty of it! There's certainly plenty of things to do, but nothing to aim for except making that virtual town home :)

Why does that fish silhouette often turn out to be an old tyre or a welly though? Hmm?
