A friend of mine from here in Tanzania, Elvis, is embarking on an epic bike ride from Chile all the way to Kilimanjaro. He plans to ride his bicycle up South America, North America, go across from Alaska to Siberia, through Russia and Asia to Europe and back down to Tanzania. He's now in Brazil waiting for his visa for Chile to be processed.

Terribly sorry for this bit of spam but I think it's a good cause and I thought maybe some of the cyclists here would be interested. He's done some long rides before such as Cairo to Capetown but this 80000km trip is a bit longer than that!
