    It's something you think you'd never hear in a Lego thread. But then Lego fans are some of the most zealous people if met, so perhaps it's not too surprising.

    Are the balls bloody before or after the biting?

    Let's hope I don't have to find out

    Did anyone buy the UCS Sandcrawler?

    I've got a few of the UCS sets now, Tie, Fighter, X-Wing etc, and it would make a really nice addition to the group, but I'd have to pay Amazon / scalper prices (currently about £350), and I'm wondering if it's worth it.

    I'm not that hung up on it, so if it's not awesome, I'll pass.

    Is it me, or are those 'BrickHeadz' a bit 'pantz'?

    @boo
    I have the Scrawler (on the table right in front of me). It's a nice build as it's very large but it's essentially building a slightly odd shaped frame and then adding panels in different ways. It's interesting seeing it take shape and the final model is impressive, again because of it's size. It's more about the final model than the process, imo - it's a chunky brown block that is much nicer than that sounds :)

    I'd probably not go in at current prices but it depends on how much you want it in your collection. It's probably the easiest to display - it's free standing and sturdy with zero wobble, and even on a higher shelf you can see it's shape and detail rather than just the boring underside.

    Only way to find out is for me to buy one I think. Probably captain America. And iron man. And batman. And hull.

    I currently have a cupboard of UCS models and a few things I've not built yet (GB Firehouse, GT3). I'm moving at the end of April - just bought a place - but there's not going to be much display space there either, and having 2 inquisitive Maine Coons means that nothing is particularly safe, no matter the size.

    I need to break everything down and re-bag it all for the move regardless, but I'm thinking about selling a lot of it on. I'm a bit torn over it. The gf says to just keep it but I feel like that's a bit of a waste when it could be built and enjoyed somewhere.

    @Derblington

    Is your new home likely to be your "forever" house, or a 5-10 year house?

    5-10. It's our first bought place, and there's absolutely no guarantee we'll stay in Stockholm forever.

    Oh yeah. That's the stands for the Falcon and T16 in the boy's room. Have rearranged since but they look ace up there on display, especially the MF.

    Then find a way to keep the stuff.

    When you buy your forever house you can build it all up again and make sure you have a man cave to display it all in :-)

    Otherwise you'll end up like boo spending £xxxx on a UCS falcon

    Bought this little fellow the other day - really fun build and the new light blocks are cool! Unusual color bricks too.

    Loving the new creator stuff and the box/manual redesign.

    Yeah this, or package it/cling film it and watch the value rise as it sits lonely in your loft

    3 new Technic sets revealed - due for release in August

    I definitely prefer these to the other 2017 Technic sets.

    I also found the new Star Wars sets. Not impressed at all.

    In fact apart from the y wing nothing tempts me about the current sets either.

    I'm still to get the X-Wing from Force Awakens, not tempted by anything Star Wars for a long time.

    Shame, really.

    I picked up the y wing / a wing and atst and love them, they look great. However I did miss them the last time they came out so get why people might be let down if they already have them.
