The Falcon is very cool, although the panels that make the saucer section roof are flimsy as all fuck.

The Winter Sets are kick ass super nice.
Too pricy for my wifes taste. I think especially the last two ones have been great. I love how the carousel is actually a working thing and not just a facsimile.

We've got the Lego CITY Calendar, the Star Wars one just looked crap this year. Excitement with the Snowman this morning!

Started building the malevolence yeseterday. First big set i've built in a long time (never opened my falcon, its sitting in its box still :-) )

ignored the numbered bags and threw all the pieces into the box willy nilly. Had hours of fun watching the walking dead, and searching for pieces.

Think the mrs (who incidentally bought it for me) wanted in on the action, she's hinted she wants a lego (but not star wars!) for christmas

will need to take a look for some ideas.

btw argos are doing 12.50 for lego star wars advent calendar

I just realised that the inventory pic I posted of the CITY calendar is a massive spoiler. It shows the items in the order of appearance.

Kid A is pining for the Santa minifig (he's a massive Christmas fan) and as I guessed he won't get it until the big day.

WILL HE CRACK UNDER THE PRESSURE?

I saw that, I enjoyed using that to somehow correctly guess the past 2 days! The kids think I'm magic or something!

Finally have time to attack my backlog a little bit, started 10233 Horizon Express this afternoon. I got a green brick separator! I could open a market stall with all the orange ones I have, so this is a novelty.

I only have one too. A probably more than a decade old grey version. I remember finding it a novelty back then cos no one else had such.

My collection of Classic Lego has numerous pieces, usually four stud plates, that look like they have been through a woodchipper. I'm certain a number of baby teeth were helped on their way by me trying to seperate bricks.

Any forumites in Korea / Asia?

The new architecture set Marina Bay Sands is out, but...

"The bad news is, only in Asia. It's for sale at shop.LEGO.com, but only to Korea. It can also be purchased from the Marina Bay Sands hotel gift shop 'and selected LEGO retailers in Asia'. I'm told that it's a limited edition run of 10,000."

Wouldn't mind getting hold of one of these, but won't pay crazy eBay prices.

I saw that in my local store when I was looking around for the studio set, converted its about 44 or so (according to current google rates that is). Not too sure about shipping costs thou.

PS: I actually emailed lego sometime ago asking if they will ever ship over here since they are actually modeling Marina Bay Sands. Nope sorry was the answer. :(

Guys, what are those big square plates called? The ones which you used to be able to join together to make runways or build your houses on?

I'd like a few grey/space ones for my Star Wars Legos to display on

My partner decided she wanted the Lego Lord of the Rings pirate ship for her birthday (26th Dec!), so took the plunge and ordered it on Amazon. Never spent 76 on lego before, so I'm hoping its pretty special.

LEGO store just opened in the Metro Centre (RED MALL) lovely shop. Can't see prices though, they're hidden and probably for good reasons, very expensive. I think? Anyway, they had some awesome stuff built and on show.

Oh, and I managed to grab some HALO Mega blocks from work last week. Bansee and Gremlin, for under 10. Very happy :)

Well I always see people walking around with their yellow bags, so can't be that bad.
