I've got a Batman LEGO Box - yes box - that was on sale for $20 on Ebay.

    Always keep the box.

    It's this set: http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Batman-Batwing-Jokers-Assault/dp/B000E1U5FK

Got all of it. I win.

Thought about gluing the Millenium Falcon kit I got for Xmas. It's the flimsiest set I've ever had. Took it out to play with it the other day and about 6-7 chunks came off of it within minutes, then a few more as I tried to reattach the wandering parts.

General Greivous ship to look forward to building tomorrow night. Then the next goal is to dig out the Obi Wan fighter and shuttle kits that I got and saw disassembled thanks to kids playing with the Lego. Should be fun trying to find all the bits out of the boxes of Lego. Must be close to 10k pieces altogether in my collection.

I'd be interested to see what these things look like when they are a pile of bricks fresh out of the packaging.

Just me. I freely admit that I don't source all the content - as is the nature with news, sometimes you just have to report second-hand - but the features and reviews are all by me.

And thanks - glad you like it.

TRU has a BOGO-half price deal running this week, so I'll be grabbing some more Hero Factory toys this week, I'm sure. I'll take some snaps and include them in the upcoming review(s).

    Evo 4.0 Review.

Sadly no pre-construction shot of the toy. But he does have a Mega Man-style arm cannon that fires a red ball.

Sydney Opera House as an entry in the spiffy Architecture series.

I have he Empire State one and is well pleased with it. It works brilliantly with the monkey suit guy from the collectable Minifigures

Got the Hero Factory Waspix (which will seriously fuck-up anybody who hates wasps) and Fire Lord at Ross (discount outlet store) for about 60% of the usual RRP.

I'll be Reviewing Waspix on Monday - and I remembered to take a picture of all the pieces before I assembled it, so you should get some idea as to what's in the box then, Khanivor.

    \o/

Built the General Greivous ship the other night. A clever build although the extraneous torture room seems a bit, well, extraneous.

Hoping to visit the new Legoland down in FL this year. Not been to one in 30 years!

There's a Legoland in Florida? Cool! I may have to persuade the wife that we need another road trip!

Used the last of my Xmas gift card cash to buy two Hero Factory ''regular'' figures thanks to TRU's BOGO 1/2 price deal.

Didn't realise those things have no pieces in there that look like Lego!

On another note, Lego.com has Obi Wan's Jedi Strafighter UC kit for 60 bucks. 676 pieces making it fall under the 10 cent per brick ratio. I really would like to buy it but 60 bucks for two hours entertainment is steep. I can make a gram of coke last longer than that. On the other hand, there is something to look at and play from time to time, unlike charles.

On another note, can you put dates on your blog? And, do you buy enough toys a year to be able to make the tax write off worth it ;)

Yeah you sort of just clip them together, it's hardly good old Lego as I know it. The lad's got a few of them and they're sturdy enough for him to play with like 'proper' action figures so they suit him pretty well.

Whilst here, we finished buiding a Xmas present Fire Temple weekend before last, it's bloody excellent (even though all I got to do was hook on the elastic bands on the tricky nubs underneath)

@Ironlungs76 I saw that assembled at the local toy store. MASSIVE!
When I was a kid the Police station was the biggest kit around and that was no where near that.

Cant wait for my son to grow old enough for me to start building his LEGO kits.

@Tonka - yeah he's got one of the City police stations round his mums, I think that's even larger if I'm honest (it might be several packs joined together though, I'm no expert)!

I get told off for putting the wrong heads on the wrong characters. Harry Potter with Hagrid's beard was too much to resist though :)

No, the one in the stop motion is the UCS one. But the GBP100 is rather kick ass as well.

Got that set for Xmas from a very generous mate. It's very nice indeed although it's far from the sturdiest model ever built.

The Hero Factory figures use a lot of Lego Technic pieces and are cross-compatible with those kits but yeah, they don't use the ''regular'' Lego bricks.
