Orc Forge got, on the cheap, too. 33. That's Weathertop for 25, Helm's Deep for 80 and now this. Saved about 100 RRP.

    /chuffed

Now own all current LotR sets.

Bring on Rivendell, Gates of Mordor and Orthanc.

Just built it: great set. Loads of colour. Dark green, light green, thick red, transparent red, orange, yellow, brown, blue, transparent burnt orange and grey bricks - also a light brick which really adds to the effect.

The orcs are great, have back printing on the heads and the Uruk Hai armour with the White Hand is really cool.

The orcs are different to those you get with Moria, too so that makes all minifigs exclusive.

But it's really the colours and the design of the forge that's the main attraction with this set.

    Recommended.

Might have spent 90 quid on City Fire Station and a Deluxe Bricks tub as we need them (plus I am taking them on holiday as it will rain on a UK holiday at some point).

Guilt lifted by winning 40 quid on a two quid accumulator bet on the footy. Swiftly transferred that back to the bank!

    Straight out of justified

That is the 4438 Robber's Hideout (also features a Police pickup, a hot rod and a police motorcycle plus a BEAR). Good build but mostly a great play set. Kid A was all over it hiding gold bars and having the bear eat the staties.

The cabin was a pretty straight forward build but the pick up had some nice features and the hotrod is a small miracle of doing a lot with few bricks.

Three more models bought over the weekend.

Star Wars Sebulba's Podracer - was only 6.99 so decided to get it. Nice little model.

Monster Fighter's The Crazy Scientist and his Monster - big fan of these kits and this is another great build. Uses a light brick - first time I have ever seen one of these. Definitely worth buying and will look great during Halloween.

The Hobbits An Unexpected Gathering - Love this! Excellent build with lots of fun features. Minifigs are great. This model has made me want to collect the series

I really like the Unexpected Gathering. If I had the room for a permanent display area, I think I'd probably grab that. The amount of detail they've got in there is brilliant.

In the meantime - you keep buying 'em, and I'll keep looking at your pictures.

    :o)

Packed all my LEGO away as we're having building work done. I'll upload all of my LEGO Star Wars, SuperHeroes and LotR when it's done.

Can't wait for the new LotR sets next month.

They announced that Steampunk will be the ove raching theme for the next set of MBAs.
Some hot looking builds in there...

Fuck you LEGO for not releasing the MBA outside of America.

@funkyshaker Looking at your pics makes me want the Death Star even more!

I very nearly picked up An Unexpected Gathering a couple of weeks ago but don't want to get into the LOTR/Hobbit Lego in addition to Star Wars...

@ZuluHero For now there's barely enough time to build the sets as they come out of the box. Can't wait for my oldest to be able to build stuff himself.

    We will play for hours.

@Ignatius_Cheese I have now officially run out of room for anything else and I hate the thought of building and then packing away. I need some ingenious shelving unit to store it all.

Death Star does look impressive but out of all the models I've made it was also the most boring. A chore is an understatement.

An Unexpected Gathering is excellent and doesn't take up much room!

OK, my wee girl may only be five weeks old but it's never too soon to get her started. So I've bought her first Lego set :)

You lot are making me so jealous! Wish I had a bigger house to actually fit some of these sets into. Can't justify it right now!

    Insane!

It doesn't look real until you start to expand the images and see all the bricks.

Staggering, although I'm slightly disappointed that they used a steel supporting frame. Still, it's am amazing feat!!

I have a completely ridiculous Lego problem. I decided to break down my entire SW collection, with the logic that me eldest son and I could spend many hours making new models. The issue is that it amounts to about 10,000 bricks which is completely unmanageable on an unsorted basis :(

I've sorted out the various different colours, but the 2 shades of grey still amount to a whole heap of bricks :(((

Also with our space constrains everything has to be put away after we've finished playing with it

I use Stanley compartment organisers to keep mine ordered. Like this one.

It's useful to get the ones with removable partitions so you can create your own compartment sizes.

@ZuluHero - in an ideal world I'd use something like that, and have a completely organised Lego connection. Space, time and money constraints hold me back. Maybe one day...

@ZuluHero Exactly what we use - I'm looking at a nice pile of 6 of these in the living room as I type. One of these is a handy, camping-friendly method of transporting enough bricks to keep the kids entertained for a few hours on-site too!
