Was out having a look around at lunchtime, and I see the Iron Man 3 sets have hit the shelves.

    Malibu Mansion set looks nice.

/resolves not to get sucked into collecting the Marvel stuff

Finally finished off my series 7/8/9 minifig collection, so I have a pile of spares left over.

I can't be doing with the postage hassles of sending them out individually, so I've divided them up into four packs of seven assorted figures.

    Who wants 'em?

(No more than one one pack per person.)

I'll take one. Series seven, since I have none of them, if that's cool.

Edit: ahh they are assorted. Still would be happy with one. :)

I know where I'm sending my kids to school:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2013/apr/22/lego-school-building-learning

On a tour of the plot where the school will be, Matthews describes bike routes he intends to create, playgrounds to be built, a hexagonal music studio to be developed and the "Lego Lab" ("the amount of Lego we can have is obviously not an issue", he said). Kindergarten will be "one big adventure," he says, "things to climb up, crawl through, slide down and swing on as part of the environment. Lego is building something quite remarkable."
    Amazing, simply amazing...

Visited the Star Wars exhibit at Legoland at the weekend which was brilliant but the exit was a horrible, horrible trap.

Shelves and shelves full of kits including the star destroyer, death star and slave 1.

My little lad lost his tiny mind and had to be dragged out of there.

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Weathertop's on off for 280kr here. That's over 50% off. I'm all over it. All I need now is the Orc Forge and that's the set.

    Roll on Orthanc.

Fantastic price 1700kr for 2400 pieces. That's way below 1kr (10p) per brick. Amazing value.
