20 although I did also buy the TIE Defender, which isn't strictly Classic Star Wars, more Expanded Universe.

Most expensive sets were Echo Base, Millennium Falcon, Jabba's Palace, Slave 1 and AT-AT Walker. Had to get the last two used.

Didn't go for the UCS sets as they are (a) too expensive and (b) don't fit with the minifig sets.

Also I'm not interested in the planets and microsets.

Cheers. Got the AT-AT and TIE Defender in their boxes under my desk, ready for building over the next few days. My favourite bit! :)

I was surprised how big the Y-Wing was. Was quite an interesting build too.

    Excellent stuff!

Not a fan of Ewoks then?
    ;o)

The Echo base set looks a lot better than I thought it would, and considering it'll always get compared with the UCS 10179 set, the Falcon really holds up well.
    Nice collection!

Yeah, where's 8038 The Battle of Endor?

Awesome collection. I would have loved to have built all those.

I think the normal Falcon is better than the UCS in some ways.
The UCS is just overpoweringly bley.

Then again... that's probably just envy talking....

Looks like my display cases :)

If you can handle some EU, (From TiE games) then the Z95 is really good.

@Khanivor Isn't the Z95 based on the Clone Wars series? If so, I'm not a big fan of the big-eyed minifigs...

@Tonka Only trouble with the original Battle of Endor is it isn't in the current series i.e. post 2010. But then again, neither is the Death Star...

Stop making me want it! :)

So how much did all of those set you back?

I've not added it up but a lot. I'm trying not to think about it ;)

Most of them were new. The only ones I paid over the original RRP for were the AT-AT and Luke's Landspeeder.

I could get a used Battle of Endor for 50 but I might wait to see if Lego release a newer iteration. There's a new Jabba's Sail Barge due out later this year which is more interactive but not as well designed...

No, the Z95 was a ship from X-Wing; you're training ship basically. The set is from CW but the ship is legit.

There are a lot of good sets from the prequels. I got back into actively buying Lego with the Republic Frigate. Gig it for Xmas after seeing it in a display case at Target. Great set. It would be the best ever if I was still 10 and played with the Lego. The Sith Fury ship is also dynamite

I really wanna get the land speeder and escape pod. Well, I wanna get it all :)

To save my bank manager having a nervous breakdown, despite my temptations, I'm steering clear of Prequel Trilogy and Old Republic :)

Which reminds me, if you want Anakin's Jedi Starfighter/Mustafar and the Old Republic Fighter, let me know.

I've got the first, (cool ship, wank extras) and would like the other. Waiting for it to get super cheap on Amazon.

Well, if you've got any Original Trilogy stuff that I don't have that you want to do a direct swap for, I'm happy. Can supply is boxed and in their baggies (taped up of course).

Well, I have two unopened TIE and an Xwing but you already got those :).

Anyway, I'm in the US so shipping will kill any benefit.

I think the catalog says May.
I was reading it with my oldest son (who instantly fell for the bloody Hobbit sets instead of the much cooler CITY sets :( ) the other day.

Yeah, I'm quite keen on that to be honest. Did you read that glowing review it got over at Brothers-Brick? Kid A however went straight for that Goblin King set.

    No, I haven't. I sub to brickshow.tv - they're dumb, but I like them.

Just bought Helm's Deep for 780 Danish kroner - down from 1299kr. I'm well happy. :)

Only need Weathertop and Orc Forge now for the lot. I'll get all the new stuff bar the ship, I think. Rivendell, Orthanc, Saruman/Gandalf - all must-haves. The pirate ship I can take or leave

It's gone from their website now, so it's probably sold out. It looked like this:

Are they old enough to build it for themselves?
    That must be so annoying...

I plan on breaking all kits apart and rebuild them at night once my sons hit that age

No he's not, I'll build it for him. He'll be 7. But he's had enough training to know he' has to look after it. He usually calls me if it comes apart and I happily fix it for him.
