They are fans that do feel this is wrong for MG and I can see were some would like to go in this direction and see how it ends up but from what it looks like, it will be losing what made the game special. I'm not coming on here kicking and screaming about it, just wondering if fans of the series feel the same as I do.
So Metal Gear fans who watch less than 10 minutes of footage of the game on the internet are better judged to make decisions on the future of the series than the people that work at Konami/KP/Platinum and have been close to this project for 18 months?

The arrogance and self-entitlement is astounding tbh.
    Nail. Head.

I signed the Do Not Cancel one just to piss off the OP. :D

Also, I went to school with a Gemma Scholes (one of the signatories). Wonder if it's the same one.

I don't know about that, seems she might be married to the creator of the petition. Could be awkward.

I signed the opposing petition. Petitons do fuck all, but in this case it'll counteract the retarded opinions of the people wanting it cancelled.

I have no idea how they think a shitty petition from a bunch of cunts is going to stop a game that's had shitloads of money spent on it in the last year and however long.

    I'm a grumpy bastard.

    Ha,ha fucking ha...
People who made that petition and the cunts who signed it should go away and cop the fuck on the wasters.
People who have fuck all else to do with their boring, insignificant little lives...
If you dont like it, then dont buy it shitheads...
    Cunts..

    Rant over..

I don't understand. Why would any sane person sign a petition to essentially say that not only will they not purchase a game, but they genuinely want to spoil it for everyone else that is looking forward to it? Seems exceedingly selfish.

Timing seems off too. We knew it was a combat orientated spin-off, yet when it's confirmed a developer that has produced critically acclaimed action games is on it, that's when it's time for a petition to ruin it for everyone else? I find the entire timing and existence of this petition deeply disappointing.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

I would sign a petition against the use of stupid words in game titles.

Platinum's involvement has turned this game from something I couldn't care less about to a potential GOTY.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

It's already more than awkward if you're saying she married someone with the same surname.

I'd sign a petition to change that goddamn name in a heartbeat.

But cancel the whole game? It's an action game being developed by Platinum. Are you crazy?

This game appears to be everything I hoped the new Ninja Gaiden would be.

    It looks absolutely awesome.
