    2) MGS:R looks like the first good Metal Gear game since Solid.

    While I'm not a fan of the series, why would you want to force somebody to stop the game? if you don't like it, have a moan in a suitable thread and don't buy it.

    Or is it being made fromn minced orphans?

    What did anyone know about Rising anyway? Apart from it being some gimmicky motion control load of shite?

    Then they give it to Platinum, a studio that turns out masterpiece upon masterpiece, and people complain? Petitions need an anti-sign button to shut these dumb cunts up.

    I actually can't wait to see how this turns out, GAMEPLAY-wise.

    The Bayonetta/Vanquish creators know all about action GAMEPLAY, which is more than I can say for a couple of the MGS titles, which are full of cut-scenes and dialogue.

    Can someone clue me in as to why people don't like Metal Gear Rising all of a sudden? The new trailer made it look like exactly what I was expecting and now I know it's being made by Platinum, I know it's in safe hands that know what they're doing with this sort of game and it leaves Kojima free to make MGS5/ a new game.

    The're are fans that do feel this is wrong for MG and I can see were some would like to go in this direction and see how it ends up but from what it looks like, it will be losing what made the game special. I'm not coming on here kicking and screaming about it, just wondering if fans of the series feel the same as I do.

    It's a new series, set in the same world. Hence the title Metal Gear Rising. How can a new series lose what made it special when it's the first in the series? Heck, even the story won't do much to continue the story of the Metal Gear Solid games, but be self-contained within the Rising series.

    So Metal Gear fans who watch less than 10 minutes of footage of the game on the internet are better judged to make decisions on the future of the series than the people that work at Konami/KP/Platinum and have been close to this project for 18 months?

    The arrogance and self-entitlement is astounding tbh.

    So you'd rather the game game was cancelled because you don't like the trailer instead of let it release, make money and allow the people that are interested to enjoy it?

    How about you just don't buy it rather than request it to cease production?
