Those odds can't be right. Yeah, City were favourites, but that's just stupid.
Wigan were 8/1, I don't get the link
    /dons stupid hat
I don't know which site this is from, but Bet365 definitely had City at 1/3 in 90 mins.

I feel I owe you some of my £35 winnings :-)

That was fucking lovely. Makes you believe in football again. Also helps that it was the best FA Cup final in a long long time.

There's a small part of me that isn't all that small that wouldn't begrudge Wigan 3 points on Tuesday.

Lets hope stoke thrash spurs tomorrow.

Good day at the office. I need to start a betting company.
Just don't go too mad with the money back specials, Victor Chandler had all bets refunded if Wigan win

    BetVictor ‏@BetVictor 40m

All refunds for the #FACup will be credited by lunchtime tomorrow. A very very very large report is being run & it will take a while #Ouch

That was fantastic. I was out my seat at the end. I've developed a real soft spot for Wigan over the last two or three seasons (as I'm sure PL thread regulars will have noticed!). Absolutely made up for them.

The thing is, it's not like they were jammy or anything. They played City off the park and looked well in control. I was constantly worried they going to 'Wigan it' and kick the ball in their own net or something, but Gary Caldwell wasn't playing so I'm pretty sure that knocked the probability of that down a notch. It was the best I've seen Wigan play in ages (not that I watch them every week, but you know).

Similarly, it was the worst I've seen City play in ages. They looked generally out of ideas and just like they couldn't be arsed. Mancini will probably go at the end of the season now. It was that bad a performance where if it was in the balance for the board then it's probably swung it to the 'sack him' side. The thing is, it'll probably work out better for them in the long-run if they bring in Pellegrini. He'd be an upgrade on Mancini, I think.

This detail summed it up, really: Rodwell (Mancini's sub) lost Watson (Martinez's sub) and, well, the rest is history.

City played like it was a job they didn't particularly like anymore whereas Wigan played like their trousers were on fire.

It also looks like a lot of people have forgotten about wanting mcmanaman tarred, feathered and thrown out of football.

Because I don't want to see any of our closest rivals to win it and to have a smaller team win it against one of them is wonderful.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

There are shit teams beating even shitter teams every week if you can be bothered to watch BBC on a Saturday night for more than 30 minutes.

    It will blow your mind!

Yeah, it's a pretty rare thing that you get a giant killing in the FA cup final, and when it does happen it tends to linger long in the memory. This is probably up there with Wimbledon winning it.

It's also only the second time in the PL era that the winners weren't a top four side, and the first time that they were in the bottom three. In fact it could be the first time that has happened in the history of the cup.

So yeah, a big deal in fact.

The FA Cup final is just another Saturday these days. I'm sure it will obviously mean a lot more to the 2,000 Wigan fans in the world, but to everyone else, not so much.

Then again I turn on about 1 minute before kick off, mute at half time, and turn off at the last kick of the ball. Maybe I need to watch more musical montages?! ¯\(°_o)/¯
