I know it isnt likely just yet but every time I open this thread I get this little warm feeling that it might just be true this time.

One day.... one day. Just hope I'm alive to see it. Though I'm looking forward more to Blatter's death.

She was evil yes, but you have to remember that it needed to be done. We were practically bankrupt a conveinent aspect people seem to forget.

That's coming from me and I think my views on the Tory party are common knowledge :)
Section 28 was pure evil, with no excuse of "it needed to be done"

    Vile, vile woman.
Thanks for that, you could've just used Hitler to mega godwin. :p
It's true though. It really is, and is widely regarded as, one of the most insiduous pieces of legislation of the last century, not just her tenure.

One thing I would also put out there is that David Cameron voted against repealing it, as did the vast, vast majority of the modern conservative party. The notion that they have "changed with the times" is laughable.

Although good job ignoring that he voted the opposite way when the motion was raised again. Cynically assume it was purely for the votes, but then that can be assumed in every voting instance of any MP.

How dare people change their mind.
  • Deleted user 29 November 2011 18:27:12
And don't make me defend an MP again. It makes me feel dirty.

    Well, you know.

MPs might have certain trends of voting a certain way in certain topics.

David Cameron might, for example, have a rather poor voting history on certain issues. The wider party might...

oh you know what, I really can't be bothered to do this on my birthday lol

Much as that petition is brilliant, I wish people would stop bumping this fucking thread while it still draws breath.

I don't think she'll be missed by most when she does kick the bucket.

Haha, in that pic her hair is the same colour as her skin, so it looks like her head giant ball with a tiny, shriveled face in the middle.

Maggie will never die. After all, who will take the place of the Anti-Christ when Armageddon finally happens?

As opposed to all those other former Prime Ministers whose loss is mourned daily?

Not at all. Just saying that Maggie won't be missed, certainly not by most people I know.

    *frustrated*

OK. I propose a new ruling. This thread is no longer to be associated with the actual death of Maggie, because it causes too much disappointment each time it is prematurely bumped. Also when the event eventually happens, it deserves a new thread, possibly entitled, "Ding, dong, the witch is dead".

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Could a mod change the title?
I feel bad that I am disappointed every time this is bumped. I really ought to be more charitable to the whey-faced old cunt by now, but I don't seem to have it in me :(
