    @mode7

You will probably need a second copy. The way play anywhere works is it ties the (digital) game to your account rather than the Xbox, so you login using the same account to the Windows Store.

You also have game sharing on the Xbox where people take advantage of the way licenses work to use a second xbox. However I have no idea how that works with the game pass system.

Yes if the title is Xbox Play Anywhere you can play the PC version too if you are a Game Pass member.— Aaron "Greenbeard" 🏆🏆🐓🍽🏴☠️🏴 (@aarongreenberg) January 23, 2018

Is there a title on GamePass which is also Play Anywhere that I can test it out on prior the the release of Sea of Thieves?

@robthehermit Cheers, I'll give Riptide GP: Renegade (Smallest file size) a download on both and see if it can play on both simultaneously.

@mode7 For both to work same time you will have to have a 2nd account, can get 2 devices working same time but needs a bit of family sharing on pc and/or Xbox.

I'm guessing that if you want to play under your own GT, you'll need to be on PC, while your other half uses her own GT on your xbox via gold sharing.

@robthehermit I apologise for my ignorance, but sharing my gold just means I have to make my account (the account with gold) the primary one the xbox?

Game sharing worked a treat with Riptide GP: Renegade, I didn't think it would be that easy. I'm assuming it will work for all games.

Thanks for your help guys :)

In case anyone's interested, I grabbed a copy of Steep from cdkeys for Ł9.99 earlier, which I thought was pretty good and would sate my Olympic fever.

@Ror Yeah, we're overdue a new Sumo kart racer. Even if it turns out to be Blinx: The Time Sweeper Kart it'll still be brilliant.

EDIT: Sales would be abominable, mind.

Would love a wave race type racer probably never happen though. Would be fine with an all stars racing 2.

@binky thanks but I just see the regular price. It probably has something to do with my account.

A karter that cleverly used time somehow would be interesting, actually. I have no idea how, seeing as racing is all about time, and time-travel stuff wouldn't work online, but... someone do it.

@LittleSparra It was more a comment about the IP, but absolutely.

Though, saying that, I really dislike the rewind function a lot of racers have now/have had for years. I know you don't have to use it, but the temptation is always there when you muck up an otherwise perfect lap.

@DMJ The rewind feature helped me in learning how to drive in Forza Horizon 3 (the first Forza game I played). Still having issues with drifting challenges, though. That one drifting a white van in the rain is driving me nuts since launch. I've read threads on Gamefaqs and still can't beat it.

@VanillaLake I can see how that would be useful, yeah.

I haven't gotten as far as the white van challenge, though. Haven't played nearly as much of it as I'd like.

It's purely a personal thing, but I never use it in races as I want to try and recapture the feeling I got when pulling off a perfect race in OutRun on the 360. Haven't managed it yet. No racer I've played since has been as 'fun' or 'pure'.

@DMJ I really need to beat it because otherwise each time I ask the GPS navigator for a challenge it takes me right where the white van is... Drifting is so demanding and frustrating in this game.

I've not played it, but ihear Driveclub might be good for that.

DriveClub is brilliant, although it's definitely not a pure arcade racer in that sense.

I've started State of Decay now that I have game pass, only put an hour or so in up to now but it seems awesome! It's like Walking Dead without the crap storylines.

Hot Pursuit is the closest a game has come to Outrun in my view. It's a brilliant arcade racer and the friends list leaderboard functionality makes it even better.

Then they shit the bed with Most Wanted and it was all down hill form there.

I thought Driveclub was a bit crap personally. It couldn't seem to decide what itr wanted to be, so ended up with handling somewhere in the middle that didn't work either way.

@StarchildHypocrethes For me it was The Crew. When you had decent cars and were cruising down double lane highways that just had the right amount of bend to drift slightly it felt just like a modern Outrun.

Hot Pursuit is pretty close, yeah. Don't have my 360 copy now but I do have it on Steam.

Haven't played DriveClub, but I didn't get the impression it was an arcade racer. Be nice if it was.
