There's a little squad based RPG in the works by the name of Kenshi. The idea is you are a dude in a quasi-eastern desert trying to, well, win the sandbox.

Its pretty sweet, very unrelenting and has a good dash "earn your awesome" of classic RPGs.

tip number one: Hitting escape will close the game. Pause is on the bar that determines play speed.
tip number two: hitting f5 will save the game.

Anyone else been playing this, I find the concept fascinating and am very tempted to get the alpha version.

How far along is it and how much is there to do?

I caved in after seeing quite a few favourable comparisons to Mount and Blade. Downloading now.

Early days but this is really something to keep an eye on. It barely works and I love it already.

Hard to nail down but think Sandbox, Mount and Blade style, crossed with an RTS for combat and settlement building with a Mad Max / Samurai RPG vibe.

Takes a while to get going as the early game is shite but I can't stop playing it.
