I don't think the equivalence he tried to draw is entirely analogous but I thought it was quite thought provoking.

before I realized he was parodying the media I was getting quite angry with how racist the article was. I imagine that's how many Muslims feel when they read the Mail.

also, going by the Guardian comments I often think the readership is right leaning who visit the site just to become enraged by the loony left.

Guardian website readers are much the same breed as Mail website readers, except the Guardian writes right-baiting articles where the Mail writes left-baiting ones.

Good article though, I thought. It baits us for a good reason, and I don't see that you can really argue it's not fairly analogous when it's a one word change. Course, switching it from one group to another brings other changes to the meaning, but still, if you were a law-abiding citizen of those groups in a good community, how would you take those words?

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

A friend of mine who knows a statistician says that one more guy is all it takes for the entire GB to be a bunch of groomers.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

When I was 12, I was in a lift by myself. The doors opened and in walked...Christopher Biggins! He didn't even attempt a quick grope, so he can be completely ruled out of any paedogeddon.

    Unless I wasn't his type....

I saw Tim Healy in a pub when I was a kid. Don't think he fucked me or anything though.

I should imagine most celebs have had members of the opposite sex offer up free no strings sex at some stage of their career. Probably about 80 percent have had a go at some point, often with no idea of the actual age of the toddler in question.

True...but this isn't what happened with Stuart Hall, and I imagine the other celebs being investigated. I think the police are trained in sorting these things out.

Dancer Wade Robson has accused Michael Jackson of molesting him when he was a child http://mirr.im/15JLUrT

Wade Robson, 30, wants millions in compensation from Jacko’s estate.

I'm all for real pedos and rapists getting uncovered and punished, but it's becoming pretty obvious that the recent compensation payouts (requiring no evidence but word of mouth to win in historic cases) must be pulling in a hell of a lot of false accusations from opportunists.

If an accusation is proven false, the accuser should receive a similar sentance

Probably simply testosterone - biological reason why men are more reckless, commit more and worse crimes etc.
Bad people do bad things, it isn't limited by whatever sex the person is.

Depressing stuff, but in all likelihood there are probably just as many female nonces as there are male. Perhaps even more as they've gone relatively unchecked while men have been utterly vilified in recent years because of the actions of men who grew up two or three generations ago in a far more misogynistic and unchecked era.
