Operation Yew Tree isn't just for paedos though. It's basically celebrity rapists and gropers who may or may not be paedos.

All publicity is good publicity eh?

"Nevertheless a decision has been taken to charge me with 11 offences involving seven women, the most recent of which is 28 years ago and the oldest 47 years ago."
Wanker. Him bringing up the age of the offences almost sounds like he's admitting them but saying it's so old why does it matter.

Doubt too many tears will be shed anywhere if he's found guilty.

Does that mean some of the sordid celebrity secrets he has helped keep out of the public domain can finally come to light?

I don't care about all the shitty sex stuff that Jordan and Kerry Katona paid him to keep quiet about... but his involvement in the Michael Barrymore case has always struck me as being incredibly wrong, his meddling has always been believed to be the main reason why no firm eye witness evidence could ever be collected for the case, and all because of few famous people and people in positions of business power didn't want to be revealed as guests at what was essentially a gay orgy.

I'm just glad there's finally some charges against someone from Yew Tree. All the questioning and the guessing games that went along with it was getting tiresome. The fact it's Clifford is a bonus.

There have been a few none-high profile convictions I thought? I believe a driver employed by the BBC back in the 70s/80s has been sent to prison as part of the investigation and a few others as well.

I think they are just taking extra long with the famous ones in order to avoid law suits further down the line.

Quite right, I should have prefixed it with famous. I knew about the driver but that was the only one as far as I knew.

Rodney always seemed more the type. After Uncle Albert of course. And Grandad.

    And Boycie.

    And Trigger.

I'm still amazed we haven't heard of either the Chuckle Brothers or any of the Krankies being bandied around.
