So does anyone use the free US unblocker? Does it work ok? I've been thinking about re-starting my 'flix sub again, but wouldn't be willing to spend over the base 6 notes you have to pay.

If you mean Unblock US then yes lots of us use it and it works perfectly but it isn't free.

In the OP there's a few services listed, one of them being free?

I'm not sure how up to date the OP is, lots of the free services seem to come and go. I think the Chrome extension Hola Unblocker will unlock US Netflix for free but they don't tend to work as well as Unblock US.

The real advantage of Unblock US is being able to switch between UK / US / Canada / Scandinavia amongst others to get the maximum choice.

Hola works perfectly for me on firefox, been using it for a few months. You can switch between US,UK, Canada plus other EU countries with a simple click, takes a few seconds..

    xXJippedXx... on EVERYTHING!

Cheers guys. I may try Hola first, see what results I get. I use firefox as well, so good to hear that works.

I could never work out how to switch - it just defaults to the US for me.

@souvlaki It should have a "more" or "not working" thing you can click on to change it.

Hola seems to work for me, I can choose my Netflix region, for free, and it's pretty damn quick and easy to set up in Chrome!

edit: I guess the advantage to paying for Unblock-US over this is that you can use it on your Xbox/PS3...

I've reverted to using mediahint for US Netflix. For Canada I use vpngate which is a little more hassle but not enough to make me pay for a service :)

Lee Daniels' The Butler is up on Mexican/Brazilian Netflix according to moreflicks.

Everyone knows Jack Thompson - but how did he become the game-blaming activist he is today? Read Part One of my new mini-series!

Anyone watched all of The League? Blitzed the first series (6 eps) this evening, funny stuff, seems like a grower. Does it holds its qualify?

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

My sister loves it and has been going on at me to watch it for ages now. Think she said she just finished the fourth season (?) and it was still hilarious apparently.

Has anyone else noticed intermittent image quality issues in the last month or so? Goes blocky for a few minutes each time.

I guess it could be my ISP...

Yeah I've seen that, I just blamed my dodgy internet connection. Netflix is amazing at keeping going despite the odds! Far rather it goes a bit blocky than stopping to buffer.

Is there a way to watch multiple regions of netflix on the ps3? I'm using unotelly at the moment and there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. Although who fucking knows because the site is no help in any way at all. I'm convinced the web site only exits to annoy me. OK. Maybe not. But still. grrr.

I spent oven an hour trying to find a way to swtich region because the section entitled "supported devices" is black... now it seems ( unless im wrong ) that sony devices only can be set to uk or us.

@wobbly_Bob Yeah, Unblock-Us works flawlessly. It allows you select any region of Netflix you want at the click of a button, without messing around with DNS settings. Just set it up on your router initially and forget about it after that. I absolutely love it.

What's worth watching to warrant using something like that? More films or different TV series?
