Anyone noted that the Netflix 1.04 update on PS3 has broken the ability to use a DNS US bypass thing?
Have you gone to the website via your PC and checked that your accoutn is still active?

It's in the Film section, for anyone that's confused :)

I couldn't decide between film or TV.

Fair enough. As a UK-only Netflixer, it's more about the TV for me, but I know I should look into the DNS stuff.

You really, really should. For 3 more, the choice is so much more.

Some good TV on the other ones as well. I just watched Top Of The Lake on US Netflix which despite being BBC hasn't been shown over here yet.

I've already got more TV series lined up than I have time to watch, and getting the wife to watch more than one film a quarter is mission impossible. So really I can only just justify the 6!

I tried the USunlocker trial for a week and while there is definitely more, there really didn't seem like that much more that was worth watching. There was Mad Men, and that was about it. And I've got most of that on DVD already.

Not series 6 of Mad Men though presumably?

Did you try the Canadian site? All depends how up to date you are really. I'm seasons behind on loads of stuff, plus rarely see up to date films, so for me it's ace.

No, didn't realise there'd be much difference, I thought the US version was supposed to be daddy!

You have to chop and change to get the most really. Canada seems to be better and quicker for films.

It's good we have a thread for netflix recommendations! Great idea.

I'm watching both the UK and US netflix and gotta say that although UK has less content, to me, it seems to have more quality stuff. It's come on leaps and bounds since starting, impressed. I would be more than happy to have just that.

At the moment I switch between the two of them. On the UK flavour at the moment since I'm working through Arrested Development ( on both) but there are two movies I want to see.

Yeah I watch at least one episode of AD each night on my mobile just before I go to sleep. That if anything is the best thing about Netflix.

Yeah. I've not had Sky or cable or anything like that for over a decade. Netflix is like a bumper xmas. Every weekend is a box-set marathon of something awesome!

Loaded up netflix on my new 3D tv and it has 3D movies! How the fuck do they know? Selection isn't great apart from Beowulf but it's still a novelty so gonna watch 'em lol

    American netflix if anyone's interested.

Anyone else with a PS3 been caught by region switching not working? Unblock US claim they have a solution, had to ping them a load of screenshots etc. Fingers crossed they can sort it....

Anyone been having terrible connection problems when using the US one lately? I use Unblock-us and if I'm set to UK it's fine, but as soon as I swap to the US one I'm only getting one bar of connection at the moment. It didn't used to do this :(

    On Xbox 360 btw.

Maybe it's something to do with Sky. I'm kind of stuck with them at the moment and they're a nightmare. When I first signed up the service was great but it's slooooowly got to the point where it sometimes barely works.

Is that wired or wireless? Sounds like some throttling of some sort, which Sky claim they don't do

It's wired. My Xbox, PC, telly and router are all near each other so don't really need to bother with wireless.

Does it do the same on PC?

Good question... I never really use it on the PC. I'll give it a test after work!
